A Little Braver-Stray Kids Felix Lee

I'm doing this imagine because right now, I feel so useless. So, I'm making this imagine to make not only me, but others out there who are feeling downright useless, to feel better about themselves. I just want to say that you should love yourself and be yourself. There's nothing wrong with you. You may be someone's trash, but you are someone else's treasure. I recommend the song above for all of you, since it's a good song.

Your P.O.V

"You're useless! Your grades are getting worse and you're not even working! All you know to do is eat and sleep!" My step father screamed at me while hitting me with a wooden cane. I could only stay in silence because if I retort, I will get worse punishments." Go to your room now! I don't want to see your useless face! Scram!" He screamed. I immediately obeyed.

When I got into my room, I locks the door and started crying in my bed." Another sleepless night tonight, I guess...." I mumbled as I got up from bed and sat down at my study table. I opened my textbooks and started studying like a maniac.

The next morning.....

I went to school. I was tired, but I didn't show it. Luckily, my face doesn't really show my eyebags." Ayo~ what's up, my girl?" A deep voice said as I felt an arm around my shoulder." Hi, Felix." I greeted my best friend as I stopped at my locker." Wait, did you study all night again?" He asked. I sighed and nodded. He's the only person who knows about how my family is.

My biological father died of cancer when I was 4. My mother remarried when I was 6. When I was 10, my mother got murdered under mysterious circumstances that no one found her murderer until today. A year after my mothers death, my step father began to become demanding. He wanted me to get better grades when I got good ones. He would beat me up if they lower.

He wanted me to become a scientist so that he doesn't have to work and live the 'lush life'." Byul! I told you, you have to sleep! You're sleep deprived! Not to mention that we have Sports Day today. You'll faint 5 seconds into your 400 metre race!" Felix exclaimed." I'm fine, Felix. I trained under these circumstances, and I'm competing under the same circumstances." I said.

"I'm worried for you, OK? Let's go get some coffee at the school cafe." He said and I nodded. After I got my novel, we went to the cafe and got some coffee. We sat down at one of the tables and I read my novel as I sipped my coffee. I could feel Felix staring at me. I was feeling a bit uncomfortable." Why are you staring at me?" I asked him." Because you're pretty.".

I was flustered. No one had ever told me I was pretty ever since my mom passed away, and that's 4 years ago. Oh, one more thing, Felix is 4 years older than me, but he kept failing his exams that the teachers had to put him in my grade." I-I'm not pretty, Felix." I said." Oh, yeah. You're not pretty." He said." You're gorgeous.". That made my heart race. I was too flustered.

"F-Felix, what's with the complimenting today?" I stuttered." Can't I compliment my bff?" He asked. Right. That's all I was. His best friend." Well, this best friend of yours isn't used to being complimented, so stop it." I said." Oh come on. This bff of mine should know that whatever happens, this guy is gonna right there for her." He said, smiling proudly.

I shook my head as we continued drinking our coffee.

Later.....

I was warming up before my race when someone pushed me to the ground face first." Good luck in losing, nerd." A female voice said." Yah! Don't disturb her, (E/N)!" Felix said as he came to me and helped me up." You OK?" Felix asked me and I nodded as he dusted off my clothes." Why are you even friends with this nerd anyways? She's the worst." (E/N) said.

"Because I knew her ever since I was born, so shut the f**k up if you don't want me to continue the long list of things why I am friends with this beautiful girl you call a nerd." Felix snapped." You could've said it a bit more politely, Felix and I'm not beautiful." I said as I pat his cheeks and went to my lane. The race was gonna start soon." Racers, to their lanes!" A referee said.

We all got ready." Get ready! Set!" The referee said." Go!" He said as he shot the gun upwards. We started running. I tried running the fastest I could.

Felix's P.O.V

Byul was in the lead of the race! I was screaming her name as everyone cheered for their candidate." KANG BYULBIT!! YEAH YOU CAN DO IT!! JUST A BIT MORE!!!" I screamed on top of my lungs. Byul passed the finish line first and I cheered like I just won a lottery. Byul stopped running a few steps after the finish line. She looked like she was about to faint.

I ran to her and caught her right before she fell to the ground." Byul? Byul! Kang Byulbit!" I said as I tried shaking her. She was breathing heavily and her eyes were half way closed." Is she alright?" The referee asked me." I-I'm fine." Byul said as she tried standing up properly, but failed as she almost fell if it wasn't for me holding onto her waist.

"Go rest. Lucky you, the medals are given out next Monday." The referee said and I smiled at him before thanking him. I carried Byul bridal style back to my spot which also has a few of my friends." Is she alright?" Changbin hyung asked." She's fine." I said, sighing as I took a towel and wiped Byul's face with it." Do you want water?" I asked her and she softly nodded.

Chan hyung gave me an opened water bottle he just cracked open and I carefully fed it to Byul. After she signalled that she had enough, I closed the bottle." Are you really OK?" I asked her as she sat up on the seat." Yeah, I'm fine." She said." That's why I told you! Don't stay up overnight to study!" I said and started giving a three hundred page lecture.

What Byul did to shut me up surprised me most. She gave me a peck on the lips and I immediately stopped talking as my face turned into a really ripe tomato. My heart was racing as if I just ran a marathon." Don't take it to heart. It was only to shut you up." She said." That's was my first kiss." I said." Well, good news to you, it was mine as well, so beat it." She said.

"Plus, you're my best friend.". OK, that hit me in the heart. I'm just a friend to her. I want to be more than that.

After school.....

I walked Byul back home." So, ugh, Byul, I was wondering." I started a conversation." Yeah?" She asked." If I said I like you, what would your reaction be?" I asked." Well, it depends." Byul answered." Example?" I asked." It's either I kiss you, or I slap you." She said." Well, then, I would love to find out." I said, smirking and we both laughed.

"I'm serious though. I like you." I said as we stopped walking in front of her house." Well, Mr. Lee, it's your lucky day because you're getting two kisses from Ms. Nerd." She said. I was confused when she suddenly pulled my tie to her. I felt her lips on mine. I melted and kissed back, hugging her waist. We broke the kiss." Damn, girl, you're a really good kisser." I said.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow, Mr. Lee." She said." I'll see you tomorrow, Mrs. Lee." I said and she hit my arm making me laugh." Go in." I said and she waved before going in. Luckily, her dad isn't home until 10 pm, so she's safe.

The next day....

I waited for Byul at the park since it'd a Saturday! I was on my phone when I heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw Byul." Hi, babe." I said as she came closer." We're not even official." She said." Then, I'm making it official." I said as I kissed her on the lips and slid a ring on her finger." I want you to love yourself more, OK? Be a little braver." I said and she nodded.

"I'll try to be a little braver for you." She said.
