💍Proposal-Kim Jaehwan♥

It was a silent evening. You were left at the house you and your boyfriend shared. Your boyfriend was a famous singer and whenever he had the time and money, he would take you on luxurious trips around the world, but not for today. Jaehwan had told you that he was going busking with another famous singer called Chungha.

Of course, you recognized who she was. She won The Best New Female Artist award in the 2017 MAMA in Japan. She was one of the best and prettiest singers you've ever saw. Just like cliché stories, your relationship with Jaehwan was kept secret.

You and Jaehwan have dated for around 4 years and it's surprising no one has found out about it, except for his other idol friends. You were making dinner for yourself when you heard the front door open. You shook your head. Maybe you were just hearing things.

Well, you were missing Jaehwan so much. You just hummed one of Jaehwan's latest singles as you cooked." Got extra?" A familiar voice asked as you were finished cutting the vegetables. You turned around and saw Jaehwan standing there. His guitar was still in hand.

"Thought you were gonna spend the whole day with her." I said as I turned back to cooking." Hey, are you mad that I left you alone at home for another girl?" Jaehwan asked as he put down his guitar and wrapped his arms around your waist, putting his chin on your shoulder.

You just stayed silent as you continued cooking. Luckily, you cooked two portions, just in case you felt a little hardworking to actually send Jaehwan a lunch box." Yah, you don't talk when you're mad at me." Jaehwan stated, kissing your cheek.

"Don't you have more important things to do?" You said, rolling your eyes. It was obvious you were mad at him, but you should've gotten used to it since it was his job. He sighed at the traces of annoyance in your voice. He just hugged your waist tightly.

"Hey, don't be mad. She made me get off work earlier to spend time with you." He said. You just shrugged and continued cooking. Even during the meal, Jaehwan couldn't stop trying to make you talk to him without being annoying, but sadly, he failed.

"Fine." Jaehwan finally gave up as you slammed the room door in his face. You two shared a room, but Jaehwan had another room where he stays in the house for cases like this. You just laid down on the bed you two shared and it had Jaehwan's scent.

You couldn't help but cry at the thought of Jaehwan leaving you after all these years. With those thoughts clouding your head, you fell asleep even while the tears were falling.

Jaehwan went to the room he used when you were mad at him and sat on the bed. He took out the hidden ring box that was within his sweatshirt pockets and sighed." I would've done it much sooner, but you just had to get mad at me." He mumbled to himself.

He washed up and laid down in bed in his pajamas. He held onto the ring box tightly as he fell asleep from the exhaustion he was feeling after days of sleepless nights.

You woke up in the morning just to feel a headache. It was because you were thinking too hard and crying too much before sleeping. You even dreamed of being invited to 'Kim Jaehwan&Kim Chungha's' so called wedding. You looked at the clock and it was already 8.

You forced yourself out of bed and went into the bathroom. You looked into the mirror and saw your face and eyes puffy from crying. You washed up and wore a pair of short jeans, a long sleeved plain flannel shirt and a pair of white ankle socks.

You got out of the bathroom only to see Jaehwan standing there with his towel and toothbrush in hand." Look, I d-" You just walked past him. You got out of the room and went downstairs. Jaehwan sighed and mentally killed himself for not stopping you.

He took a bath and wore a pair of denim jeans, a red shirt and a short sleeved denim jacket. He also put on a pair of red socks. After that, he went downstairs and saw you just staring into space on the couch. He sighed and took the ring box out of his pocket.

'I have to propose today.' He thought. He sat beside you and you just moved away from him." Don't you think we're drifting away?" You asked, trying to hold back the tears you were holding. Jaehwan just stayed silent and he held your hand, only to be pushed away.

"Jagiya, if you keep acting like this, we really are going to drift away, but I'm not letting that happen." Jaehwan said in a serious voice. He rarely ever gets serious, and it's only your third time seeing him so serious." I need to show you something." He continued.

You looked at him and he took out the ring box he was clutching onto." I wanted to do this yesterday, but you were too mad at me. I couldn't find a perfect opportunity to do this because you didn't calm down yesterday." Jaehwan confessed. You felt bad.

'He had plans....' You thought. Jaehwan opened the box and kneeled down on one knee on the ground." I may not be doing this right, but I'm saying this from the bottom of my heart. I love you. I truly love you. If you were to be my one and only Mrs. Kim, I'll be the happiest man alive.".

You felt tears sting your eyes, but this time, tears of happiness were filling your eyes." Will you marry me?" Jaehwan asked, looking into your tear stained eyes with sincerity from the bottom of his heart. You wanted to say something, but it was stuck.

You couldn't say anything, but you just nodded and hugged him. He hugged you back and carried you back onto the couch." I don't need to hide you anymore." He said softly as he slid on the silver colored ring studded with small sapphire stones onto your finger, since they were your favourite. You smiled and laughed sightly. Seeing you laugh, he laughed heartily with his maniacal laugh.

"I love you, my soon to be one and only Mrs. Kim."

"I love you too, my goofy maniac laugh and one and only Mr. Kim."
