Your P.O.V

I was staring outside the window, into the rainy day outside." He said that he promised me..... Where is he now?....." I thought to myself.

(Flashback)

It was a rainy day in Seoul. My boyfriend and I were on our last date before he would debut as an idol." Jagiya, I want to tell you something." He said." What is it?" I asked him." Don't forget me when I debut. I promise I won't forget you." He said." I promise too." I said, smiling." So, should we go to a cafe? I mean, we can go to my brother's cafe." I said.

"Sure." He said and we went to my brother's cafe to just continue with our date.

(End of flashback)

I hope he still remembers me." Noona? Come out. It's dinner time." My brother said as he knocked on my room door. We live above his cafe now since he renovated the cafe building to a house shop." Ok." I said and went downstairs. We sat at one of the tables in his home like cafe since we didn't really have a dining room upstairs." So, did Seongwoo hyung call you?" He asked. I sighed.

"Nothing." I said." I'm sure he's busy. He won't forget you. I mean, you're an amazing person." My brother said." Thanks, Hwi." I said, smiling at him for lifting my mood up." It's really raining out there." My brother said, sighing at the pouring rain outside. Then, someone entered the cafe." Welcome to Lee's home cafe!" My brother greeted the customer.

The two went to the cashier and the customer ordered his coffee." You must be really cold. I'll go take a towel for you." My brother told the customer as he ran upstairs. I just sat quietly as I continued eating my dinner. I felt someone look at me and looked up. I saw the customer looking at me.' Wait he looks kind of familiar....' I thought." Excuse me, but are you (Y/N)?" He asked.

"Yes, I am. And you are?" I asked. He smiled." It's me! Kim Jaehwan! The crazy maniac laugh guy back in high school?" He said as he sat down in front of me." Oh my God! Jaehwan!" I said and we hugged." Oh my God, it's been years!" I said. We continued talking until my brother came." Woah, what happened here?" He asked." This is my old classmate! Can't believe I met him again!" I said.

"Which classmate?" Hwi asked, tilting his head." Maniac laugh." I said and he nodded." Annyeonghaseyo, Jaehwan hyung!" Hwi greeted him brightly as he gave Jaehwan a towel." Thanks." Jaehwan said and dried his hair up." So, how's life?" I asked Jaehwan." Well, being a well known singer now is hard. You know, schedules and all." Jaehwan said." Have you met Seongwoo hyung?" Hwi asked.

"Of course. We have a collaboration team we call 'The Votes'. It's because we were made because a lot of fans wanted us to, so yeah. We are from the same company." Jaehwan answered." Well, does he ask about us?" I asked." Not you two, but you." Jaehwan said." What do you mean?" Hwi asked." Seongwoo hyung won't stop talking about how much he misses you, how much he wanted to see you." Jaehwan said.

"Well, can we see him?" I asked." Well, you can next week since both of us are going to be on 'I Can See Your Voice' as a team. You can audition for 'I Can See Your Voice' because well, just because!" Jaehwan said." I'll audition tomorrow I guess." I said." I'm sure they'll accept you. Plus, you should like cover up your face or something." Jaehwan said." I should wear my prom dress and a mask." I said.

"Does it still fit you?" Jaehwan asked in surprise." Yeah! I wore that to Hwi's birthday party last year." I said." Oh my God, you really haven't changed." Jaehwan said." Well, except for my chest, of course." I said shyly." Yeah, noona used to be flat chested!" Hwi whined." Yah, shut up." I said and we all laughed.

A week later.....

I was really nervous. As the MCs told us to come out, we came out and posed. I sneaked a peek at Jaehwan and Seongwoo. Seongwoo was just looking at all the contestants when his eyes landed on me. I tried to stand as still as I could to not show how nervous I was. Soon, we had to do the missions and all and one by one, the other contestants got eliminated.

"Now, between contestant number 4 and contestant number 6, who will you pick to collaborate with you two?" Leeteuk asked Seongwoo and Jaehwan. They discussed and I saw Jaehwan kept doing number 4, which was my number." We'll pick number 4!" Seongwoo said." Number 4, please sit down at the seat beside them." Jungkook said and I obeyed.

I sat down beside Seongwoo and he leaned in." Hi." He greeted. I just nodded my head." I think I know who you are, but I might be wrong." He whispered. I just smiled at him. The other contestant sang and he was tone deaf! Soon, it was our turn and they put on Seongwoo and Jaehwan's debut song, 'I Promise You'(low key promoting them lol).

They sang until my turn came. I started singing the part and they started screaming and jumping of happiness. Slowly, I took off my mask and faced them. Seongwoo was shocked and screaming 'Oh My God!' while Jaehwan and I high fived. After the song finished, we bowed!" Why are you so shocked, Seongwoo ssi?" Leeteuk asked Seongwoo.

"This girl right here. She's my girlfriend from before I debuted." Seongwoo answered as he held my hand. I just smiled as I nodded, stating that he's telling the truth." And Jaehwan ssi?"." Well, I met her and her brother last week at their cafe because it was rainy and all so when we knew that we were high school classmates, we discussed about old times.".

"And then, we suddenly started talking about Seongwoo hyung. After that, we started to plan that she would attend the show as a contestant. Our plan worked, so yeah." Jaehwan explained." You planned this?" Seongwoo asked me and I nodded." I missed you. We haven't met for a whole year." I said into the mic. He smiled and we hugged.

"One more thing. Isn't that your prom dress?" Seongwoo asked me after we let go of the hug, making others laugh." You remembered!" I said and laughed along with the crowd." I told you. I promised you that I won't forget you." He said and we both smiled." And I promise that we'll be together forever." He said.
