It was a bright sunny day in fall. Red, orange and yellow leaves falling onto the palace garden grounds as you walked with your two handmaidens behind you." Your Highness, the temperature today is quite cold, no? I suggest I get your jacket for you." Hanabi, the older handmaiden said. You smiled." It is quite alright, Hanabi. I don't feel cold at all." You chuckled." I woke up quite warm today, so I would like to enjoy the cool air for now. Although I must thank you for the offer." You continued. Hanabi slightly bowed her head to you as the three of you stopped by the main fountain of the garden.
It was an angel figure spouting out water from the jar it was holding down into the bottom of the fountain. You beamed, slightly bowing to him along with Hanabi and Yumi." Mind for a walk, milady?" He bent forward slightly, taking your hand and placing a soft kiss on the back of it." Pleasure is all mine." You said. a light rose colour now present on your face. Kuni walked with you around the garden, talking about a various different topics.
No matter the topic, nothing seemed to bore you. Kuni's voice was soothing, even though sometimes a bit sarcastic." Your Highness, you have been quiet for a while now. Is everything alright?" He voiced out. Although his face did not show any sign of concern, the tone of his voice exposed every feeling. You gave him a small smile." I am fine, Lord Kuni. I just enjoy your stories." You giggled softly. With the knowledge that many dislike Kuni's presence around them, the young lord was absolutely stunned by your answer."
