"Oh. Oh my god." Sabo muttered.
Ace knelt down before him, taking his hands.
"Sabo, would you do me the honor. Of. Waiting for me while I tie my shoe?"
Sabo pursed his lips yanking his hands away. And beginning to walk away. Ace chuckled.
"Hey, no. I need to tie my shoe!"
"I hate you!"
Ace finished tying his shoe and went up to catch up to Sabo. He nudged him taking his hand.
Sabo sat at a meeting, Ace sat next to him resting on his palm why there boss walked in. Ace smirked as he lit up with an idea. He turned to Sabo taking his hand. Sabo furrowed turning to him.
"Sabo, my dearest and my longing boyfriend-"
Sabo pinched him, "Don't you propose to me while we're in a meeting."
"Well I am. I'm proposing. For you. And I to get lunch after this."
Sabo pursed his lips punching him in the arm. Ace chuckled wrapping his arm around his shoulders and kissed his temple.
Sabo and Ace sat on the couch watching TV. Ace perked up when he noticed something on the floor.
"Huh. What's that."
Sabo noticed Ace get down on the floor. He picked up something off the floor.
"Don't. Don't you dare."
Ace grinned, "Hey relax, it's just a ring. That had fallen onto the floor."
Ace knelt down to pick it up. Sabo pursed his lips as Ace rubbed it against his shirt.
"Sabo."
"No. Your not going to propose to me in my pajamas."
"Would you-"
"No."
"Do me the honor."
"NO!"
"Of."
"Ace!"
"Giving me your hand."
"I'm gonna punt you!"
"What it's just a key ring."
Ace showed up the silver metal wrapped round each other. Sabo frowned and kicked Ace in the side having him laugh.
"Your horrible."
"I love you too."
Luffy sat in the back seat while Ace and Sabo held hands on the way to dinner. All dressed nice and formal. Everyone they knew was going to be there. Knowing why they were coming.
"Ah shit, I forgot gas." Ace grunted.
"It's alright. We have time."
Ace pulled into a gas station. And climbed out to pump gas. Sabo turned to Luffy playing a game on his portable console
"So does he have a speech in mind. When is it going to happen? Before or after dinner?"
Luffy perked up to him, "Ace isn't proposing to you at dinner."
Sabo blinked, "What?"
Ace knocked on the window having Sabo turn to him. He opened the door a tad.
"Sabo the guy says our card is declined."
"What! No."
Sabo climbed out of the car as Ace shut the door. Luffy watched as Ace stopped Sabo before the doors to the station. He knelt down taking Sabo's hand.
"I've always been the one for surprises. So. I wanted to propose when you were least expecting it. Will you do me the honor of being my husband?"
Sabo smiled, "I do."
Ace grinned as they embraced and shared a kiss. A couple of bystanders clapped for them. They pulled back as Ace slipped the ring onto his finger.
"What about our card?"
"I had to get you out of the car somehow."
