They were locked away. Held close to each other. The kingdom of Dressrosa burning down looking for the blonde and black haired man. The start of this whole war. The two who knew what was truly happening to this kingdom. Who knew the darkness behind his power. The one who started it all. Doflamingo. A man corrupted with power, wealth and fame. He craved it. It was all up until moment ago.
Doflamingo bobbed down the hallway. Going down into his office. But he stopped when he noticed a black feather sitting outside his door. He frowned to this as his eyes flicked up to the door.
"Corazon." He growled.
Without hesitation he pushed open the door. Inside Corazon and Law were rummaging through his things. A small stack of papers sat on his desk. The plans and deeds to everything. The scams, the blackmail, the black market, even SMILE's were all in that small stack of papers.
"Law!" Corazon cried.
He grabbed the papers before scooping up the smaller man and jumped out the window. Doflamingo approached the window. Watching them run off out of the castle. His face furrowed as a vein popped out of his forehead. His teeth grit tightly as he turned to the den den moshi sitting on the desk. He walked over to it and picked it up.
"We have a couple of moles in the family."
Law and Corazon hid in an abandoned shack far out of town. They lied against the wall embracing each other. They panted softly clutching onto each other. Small kisses to each other's exposed skin. Hands clutching each other softly groping and squeezing whatever they could. Corazon pulled back cupping Law's face and kissed him softly. Law bit Corazon's bottom lip and tugged gently. Corazon hummed as the kiss was heating up, tongue meshed with teeth scraping against one another. Before Corazon pulled back with a slight blush.
"We did it." Corazon breathed.
Law pulled back, "Yeah, we did."
They embraced once more. Law chuckled softly pulling back and looking at the papers. Taking pictures with a den den moshi and then slipped it in his pocket. Law straddled Corazon's hips again kissed him softly. Corazon was more then happy to return the kiss. Law pulled away resting his forehead against Corazon's and took his hand. A gold ring wrapped around his finger. Law smiled softly rubbing his thumb over the gold before kissing it softly.
"I love you. Rocinante." Law smirked.
Corazon hummed, "I love you too Law."
Then they kissed once more. But they soon were pulled away when the birdcage was formed. Their eyes widened as they knew they couldn't escape. Law's eyes flicked to the strings spreading across the kingdom. He furrowed as he turned to Corazon.
"Damn it." Corazon muttered.
Law grabbed his collar and pulled him into a rough kiss. Tears pricked the corners of his eyes. Corazon flicked to each of his steal eyes, cupping his cheeks wiping away the tears.
"I am damaged, far too damaged. But your not beyond repair." Law said putting his hand on Corazon's cheek.
"Stick around here, make things better. Cause you need to be here."
Law pulled out the den den moshi and put it in Corazon's hands. He picked up the papers and got up. Law approached the door and turned to Corazon propped up against the wall.
"Please stand back now." Law said.
Corazon got up and stood back.
"A little further."
He stepped back more.
"I don't know what he will do. Hope you miss me, I'm glad you kissed me. Now you know I worship you. I'd trade my life for yours."
"Oh my god." Corazon muttered.
"And once I disappear."
"No wait hold on!"
"Our love is god."
Law existed the shack and blocked it off. Keeping Corazon locked inside. So at least he could live. So he could show the world the truth behind Doflamingo's ways. That's all he wanted, for Corazon to live. He then headed for the town. The kingdom was deserted. Everyone hiding from Doflamingo's wrath. Some lied dead on the ground, blood pooling onto the cobble stone. Some crying for help, some just. Crying. Law saw Doflamingo and stood a few feet away from him.
"Doflamingo!" He cried.
The tall man slowly turned to him. A large grin grew on his face. Law swallowed thickly.
"Our love it god." Law muttered.
Corazon rammed against the door busting through it. He stumbled out of the door and rolled down the hill. He checked himself making sure he wasn't on fire. Which he wasn't so he got up. His eyes wandered the kingdom looking for Law. He ran into the kingdom, until he came across them. Law stood before Doflamingo holding up the papers.
"Take em. As long as you don't hurt Corazon." Law said.
"And what about you?" He grinned.
He looked him dead in the eye, "I'm already damaged. Far too damaged, beyond repair."
Doflamingo snatched the papers before grabbing Law's jaw and lifting him off the ground. His hand slowly clutching onto his jaw.
"How do you know I will keep my promise?" Doflamingo growled.
"Cause. If you don't, my crew is waiting outside. If Corazon or I don't return to them, they will send in marines to drag your sorry ass through Impel Down." Law said.
Doflamingo growled clutching tighter having Law wince and groan starting to claw at his large hand.
"W-wait!"
They turned to Corazon standing in the pathway not to far from them.
"Corazon." Doflamingo grinned.
"You said you wouldn't hurt anyone that is your family. Correct?" Corazon asked.
Doflamingo furrowed, "That is true."
"Then you would be breaking your own rule by killing Law." Corazon said.
He furrowed harder, a vein popped out of his forehead as he looked to the young man.
"How so Corazon?" Doflamingo asked.
Doflamingo's hand dropped Law. Corazon didn't hesitate to embrace the younger man. Law embraced him back as they turned to Doflamingo. Law giving small kisses on Corazon's neck while keeping contact with Doflamingo.
"He's your brother in law." Corazon smiled.
Law grinned an evil grin, "Literally."
