A little PSA

So yeah, no matter what I do, I am unable to stop thinking about this man and the fact that he is gone and the fact that he himself made the decision to go and the fact that his family and the other members of SHINee must be suffering beyond compare and ---

I just can't.

But this just goes to show that mental illnesses are not to be looked down upon or disregarded or ignored. They are important and they hurt an individual way way way more than a physical and visible injury. That is because they hide in the folds of your mind, whisper cruelty in your ears, fills out your thoughts, and slowly but surely weighs down your heart, your hope, and your drive to live.

If Jonghyun with his blinding smile and his dancing steps and his radiating kindness isn't the best example for this right now, I don't know who is.

So here's some advice AND a website, taken from hoseokshope19940218

Please go to this website, OR ALTERNATIVELY, the Koreaboo Twitter site - where they have provided a list of all international suicide hotlines - and if you have a mental illness or symptoms of one or you are just feeling like you want to end your life, call them, seek help, get help.

Don't wait for it to "pass", don't say it's "not a big deal", don't ignore it.

Because the chance are highly likely that it won't pass, and that it is a big deal, and ignoring it will with time allow it to consume you and waste your life away.

At LEAST think of Jonghyun - a wonderful and talented and kindhearted and joyful man - whose sorrow and whatever pain he was hiding caused him to END HIS LIFE at TWENTY SEVEN YEARS OLD.
Twenty. Seven.
He died in his prime, his youth, too early, too young. And that is because he had hidden so much pain and it was too overwhelming by the end and his only solution for himself was to just... go.

Think of him and how he had let his wonderful life deteriorate because he had chosen ignoring the problem over seeking help.

Think of him, and please PLEASE PLEASE seek help for your illnesses and get therapy and get other's support.

Also, as I mentioned previously, as a sign of support for Shawols, we are turning our profile pictures white.
Some of my friends have told me that they have been having trouble doing so, so here, take a screenshot of this - crop it if you must - and set it.

This is mainly for x_miss_Sugaaa_x.

Finally, there is a trending picture related to Jonghyun, which I believe is everyone's reply to his final heartrending farewell text (which still makes my chest hurt),

You really did Jonghyun. You did more than well. You did amazing, and I am so sorry that it had to end, that you decided to make it end.

I feel like I can never say sorry enough, eventhough it helps not at all.

STAY STRONG SHAWOLS
STAY STRONG SHINee
