Remnant's Knightfall (Rwby X Bane Reader)

I got off the bullhead and made my way towards my room all the while thinking about the events of the morning. I had to admit I enjoyed my time with Neo, I looked at my scroll and saw her number, with the picture of a ice cream cone with three scoops white pink and brown, beside it.

"I'm sure we'll be able to meet again, but now I suppose I have some explaining to do."

I turned towards the door and saw professor Goodwitch standing by my room. She was tapping her foot and appeared to be waiting for something, or someone.

"Can I help you Miss Goodwitch?"

She jumped slightly and sighed once she noticed me standing in front of her. She adjusted her glasses before replying.

"Actually I was waiting for you."

Ok, wait what?

"Okay, why?"

"Professor Ozpin wants to see you. That's all I can say for now."

I sighed and made my way towards Ozpin's office. Goodwitch was right behind me, I looked down at her and chuckled.

I make everyone else look small.

As if she knew what I was thinking she glared at me before walking in front of me and opening the door to the office.

Ozpin was sitting down at his desk drinking coffee and looking out at the Atlas ships flying overhead, as I entered he set down the mug and stood up turning to face me.

"Ah Mr. Bane, I would like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind."

"That depends on what they are."

He picked up his cane and pressed a button on his desk, a screen appeared showing me fighting Yang back in the club. The screen then split with the other side showing me fighting Grimm in the emerald forest.

"When you first arrived in Beacon I did a background check on you, this is all I could find. Tell me where did you learn to fight like this?"

I sighed, "Peña Duro. I taught myself how to fight, in there if you couldn't fight you'd end up dead pretty soon."

He looked at me quizzically.

"Mr. Bane I have been to many cities all over Remnant, and I have never been to or heard of a city named Peña Duro before."

"That's because you're looking in the wrong place, and none of this Mr. Just call me Bane."

He nodded "Very well Bane, then please enlighten us. What and where is this place?"

"Before I tell you that there's something you should know beforehand, it's that I am not from Remnant. I was from a different world known as Earth. And Peña Duro is a prison on my world."

Goodwitch seemed skeptical of my words but Ozpin motioned for her to stop. He then looked at me.

"Well then, does that mean that you are a criminal? Because from what you say it seems like you were in prison, but why?"

"It wasn't by choice, my father was one of a group of people who staged a coup against the government, the government decided to retaliate with extreme force and he was killed in the massacre that ensued shortly after. However my mother was arrested and at that time she was pregnant with me. According to an century old rule the punishment of a father must be carried out by his son should the father not survive to serve his sentence. As such I became the youngest inmate of Peña Duro."

Goodwitch was shocked "But.......you were just a newborn child."

"Well they didn't seem to care, as soon as I was born I was already marked as a prisoner, then when I was six years old my mother died. The last I saw of her was the guards throwing her body into the water as food for the sharks."

I sighed and made my way towards the window, I placed my hand on the glass and looked out over Beacon.

"I was constantly harassed and beaten by the other inmates, but the rough life simply served to make me the nightmare I am today."

There was silence for a while, then Ozpin clicked on his desk and the screen showed me fighting first team CRDL, And then team RWBY.

"I was impressed with your skill, also the way that you fight is very effective and yet quite brutal. I've never seen anyone fight this way before. However that's not what concerns me."

He fast forwarded and then the scene changed to show me losing to RWBY and then juicing up on Venom.

"Here you were losing and then suddenly this happened."

I then charged and took out each member of the team, then the recording stopped.

"What happend out there Bane?"

I thought about telling him but decided against it, some things are better kept secret after all.

"I just fought with all my strength that's all, I didn't want to lose on my first combat class."

Ozpin looked at me then back at the screen, "Well I hope this won't happen again, not only did you completely deplete their auras but you gave them physical injuries as well, and all of this during a practice match."

"I'll try my best, but no promises."

"Very well, you may go now."

I turned and walked out of the office, I turned to my room and saw Jaune walking towards me.

"Hi Bane can we talk about something?"

I nodded and walked away with him.

We ended up on a balcony overlooking the emerald forest.

"Well what is it you wanted to talk about?"

"It's about Wiess, I like her and I keep telling her that but she keeps shooting me down. I was wondering if you could help me."

"You want me to do what exactly?"

"Just give me some tips, I mean come on your strong, smart, good looking so surely you have had some experience with girls right?"

I sighed and placed my hand over my face. I then looked over him and noticed a certain redhead walking towards the dorm.

"You said that she keeps ignoring you right?"

He nodded and then looked at me expectantly.

"Well then maybe she's not the girl for you."

"Ok I asked for help trying to get her to notice me not another girl."

"And yet all this time she isn't interested in you, but maybe someone else is."

He paused suddenly, "Wait, you mean that there's someone else who likes me and you know who it is? Well who is it?"

I shrugged and began walking away, "That's for me to know and for you to find out. You're a smart guy Jaune, so figure it out."

I entered my room and turned off the lights, as I lay down I opened my scroll and immediately saw a picture of the Malachite twins. As I lay there looking at the photo I remembered what they said.

"I think I should pay them a visit."
