Reposters, & why they are the worst people alive

Okay so that title is clickbait. I hate reposters but I do not hate them to the point of thinking that their existence makes the world a worse pace.

If you fell for the title, thinking I'm gonna beast out like a loony then please stay. I'm aiming for this to be a PSA or something

So I've made a rant about "art theft" before, which is honestly exactly like reposters depending on how you see it, and while honestly in my own eyes they are pretty much the same thing (people taking images from the internet with no fucks about the creator's feelings) but since I haven't used this term as a title, might as well do so.

Now this rant is gonna be very short. This is the kind of thing I'd post in the "This is basically the Sonic Fandom" (check it out!) but I'm so pissed about this that'll I'll put my rant in my book with the most views.

Before I continue, I'd like to thank all my readers/followers for 11.3K views on this book! It's like yesterday when it was 5K so I'm just so happy that people take time to read me complain like a baby.

Anyways, I mean a lot of you must already know, going by how many times I've repeatedly complained about this, but I hate reposters and art thieves.

They are no more than talentless hacks who thinks that everything in google is free to use as long as there is no watermark. I think there's something in the Google Policies about this, I'll have to skim it to check it out.

I'm gonna be real blunt and quick here, this rant exists because as usual, someone's attitude has pissed me. Look, if you are using someone else's artwork, acknowledge that you did not make it.

Acknowledge that you do not have any rights to the image, you don't own it, you didn't make it, you can't reproduce it and you cannot say that it is yous. If you fall into the category of people who does this or you've done of thought atleast one, then you need to change how you act.

People put time and effort into their pieces, regardless of the quality, so respect their efforts by keeping your grubby hands off their work.

I mean I hate myself for using other people's art, even though I credit them whenever I use it. But thats only because I'm trying to draw myself so I become too self-conscious, its nothing relating to this topic actually.

To the person who made me rant about this, I do not understand how you think. I know we are different people with different morals, but your action towards my own confuses me.

For those who do not get what I'm rambling about, imagine this scenario: NotMH tries regularly to credit artworks in different books, may it be personal books, OC books, picture books, ship books etc. to give recognition to an artist. Someone who you are familliar with blocks you for a reason you didn't bother looking into until a month later, even though the said users reposts to much sonic artwork that NotMH's hearts hurt.

What reposters don't realize is that they are pulling away possible viewership for these artists. This is like comparing the situation to reaction videos on youtube. A normal person would have skepticism in the claim that people would just watch a reactionist instead of the original video, but some people really actually does do this.
