BAD Sonadow Writing

I'm just gonna be really blunt and fast and just say it. Fanfictions are toxic. I still feel decent around them, but just seems so unbearable to read. I mean not only are they ridiculous, but they successfully able to spit, poop, urinate and throw ketchup over two great characters, Shadow and Sonic.

I didn't even need to read them. The summaries were enough for me to prove myself right. Now subjectively, I wont pinpoint everyone as a bad writer (though right now I still can, because I haven't seen much, and none of them seemed loyal to the character's original aesthetics, puts them in a good situation and builds a decent universe for them)

I'm never gonna say that I can do better, but one thing I can say is that stories here, specifically Sonadow ones, are eye-soring, because they just write scenarios to force their couple in.

A funny realization that came to me is that most books are all AUs. It's hilarious because it just proves that if given the canon plot story and origins, forcing this couple in like me trying to fit an elephant in my school pencil case, aka its very out ofplace because they weren't built to have a connection like that.

Another fucking irritating troupe that people here tend to throw around is giving Sonadow generic romance situations. Now doing THIS is bad writing, because they aren't considering the type of story environments that the characters are in.

I , for a fact, have a huge dislike on the Archie Comics, but even Ian Flynn and side-writers can pull my thought off. They consider what the characters would be most appropriate in and instead of writing like a fanfiction despite being given the freedom to write off whatever they want as long as they follow the mandate, they are able to express each scenario amazingly because it suits the character and what he or she can do.

I might seem off topic by now, but its just writers here write fics for Sonadow, and gives the the most generic fic ideas and this causes the readers to Not read about Shadow or Sonic anymore. It just looks like a forced in romance book where they secretly replace Sonic or Shadow with themselves and writes a terrible fic about his or her dark fantasies and hopes people enjoy reading. Sure they would, but hey deserve better.

Again, like I mentioned in the rant exactly before this one, Writers here doesn't seem like they have the ability or the need to develop them as an actual pairing, because if everyone likes it, whats the point of doing so right? (haha sarcasm~~~)

Sonadow has it so bad that theres this one point where I was in between hating it of pitying it. Again, if you don't feel threatened by this comment of mine (Yes, I mean sonadow fans) then don't act like you are.

Sonic is usually portrayed as this blushy guy who'd BLUSH whenever something embarrassing happens to him. He's a man of action, not mere expression!

And Shadow, in this fandom here, is nothing but the edgy cool guy whos nothing but Hot. He is literally nothing! Everything you'd ever ike about him, other than his design was sweeped away as soon as some of the books Ive read were being written.

Basically, fanfictions are such a pain in the neck because they arent introducing us a new world written in their own way, but its basically an excuse to write their favorite pairing down in the most unrealistic way that you can just feel like they were written by some desperate teenager who wants her pairing to happen so badly she'd write a disturbingly sad and pitiful fanfiction for it, without considering the character at all.

I'm almost at the point where i'd a call all Sonadow fanfictions, nothing but garbages. Thats what I think atleast. If you find enjoyment out of them or write one, good for you, because it means you can blending with the majority of the small minded users here, and that might sound rude coming from me but its still better than being a smart-ass hater like me.
