Chapter 80

Damon went to put a leash on the wolf while Bonnie checked brighton for bite marks.

"Are you sure you okay sweetheart? Maybe we should pack up and take him to the doctor,damon." She said

"I'm okay." Brighton said

"He's fine. This wolf is harmless and i will take him outside." Damon said

"How do we know he haven't bite him?" She asked

"Did you find any marks?" He retorted

"No but-" She said

"Then he's fine. Start breakfast and i will be back." He said taking the wolf out the room

Bonnie started checking Brighton all over again.

"Mommy." He said

"I'm just worried about you." She said

"I'm okay mommy you okay." He said

"So you didn't believe your husband when he said that everything was okay?" Bonnie's therapist asked her.

"It's not that i don't trust damon. It's just that i can't grasp the fact i let my son down once. I'm usually the one who can sense something horrible coming." She said

"From the details of what happened in that cabin i think you are misinterpreting your own self confidence." The therapist said

"So you think if i find out how i let my confidence go i could stop obsessing about my mistake?" Bonnie asked

"Mistakes happen, bonnie. They are part of life. If you keep holding onto them you're be doomed to let it consume you." The therapist replied.

Bonnie nodded then they finished their session. Afterwards she went into the hallway and ran to the bathroom. She suddenly became nauseous again.

Damon and Brighton was at the park with Stefan. "I can't believe Caroline is actually marrying Klaus." Stefan said

"Do you want her not to?" Damon asked

"I want her to want to give us a second chance." He confessed

"You have Elena and a daughter now bro. I think that's baggage enough." Damon retorted

"I don't want to be with Elena." Stefan said

"You don't have to impress me. I know you still love her,stefan." He retorted

"How can i possibly love someone who could do all the thing's she's done?" He asked

"Because you still love me." Damon said

Stefan stared seething into Damon's truth. Even after all the pain and lies Elena has caused he is still in love with her.

At home,Bonnie opened up a pregnancy test kit. "I can't believe im doing all this alone again." She said

"Honey we're home." Damon announced walking in the house.

Bonnie was scrambling to put the pregnancy test kit in a hidden place.

"What are you doing?" Damon asked standing in the doorway.

"I was doing nothing. How was the park?" She asked

"Stefan is struggling with his undeniable love for Elena again. I just told him that despite my past with her we're still going to be brother's." He said

"That's great." She said

"What's that behind your back?" He asked

"Me." She said

"In your hand." He said

"Damon,i don't want to talk about this right now. I had a good therapy session and i just want to relax. I should take a hot bath or something." She said

"What are you hiding?" He asked

"I told you nothing." She said

"Let me be the judge of that." He said reaching for the pregnancy test kit behind her.

"Damon give me that back." She said

"Were you going to hide this from me?" He asked

"No. I just wanted to see if it was something that i could talk to you about. I realized i was late and-" She started explaining

"Late? How late are you bonnie?" He asked

"Since when have you been interested in my cycle?" She asked

"I'm interested because it can effect the both of us. But that's not the point. How long has it been?" He said

"A month or two. I didn't want to tell you til i had something to tell you." She said

"You should've came to me." He said

"I just noticed it. I thought this whole stressful mess about Caroline wedding and my bad dreams about enzo. Damon it's been alot of thing's that could've caused this problem. I just didn't think it was another baby." She explained

"Did you take the test?" He asked

"I was about to." She said

"I'll wait outside the door but we need to talk about this some more." He said

Bonnie nodded then took the kit and damon waited in the hallway.
