Chapter 36

Damon started making vampire pancakes and poured himself some orange juice. "There's definitely something missing." He whipped out a small bottle of bourbon and poured it into his juice.

Bonnie walked into the kitchen."You're making breakfast?"

"It's one of the most important meals of the day." He smiled.

"Right." She said pouring herself some orange juice. "You do realize Elena is probably at your place waiting."

"I spoke with her awhile ago." He said.

"Are you avoiding her?" She asked.

"What?" He retorted.

"Damon,why are you avoiding Elena?" She asked.

"That's not what i'm doing." He reflected.

"I know you,Damon. You are avoiding her. Is you feeling guilty?" She asked bluntly.

"Guilty about what bon? Here's your pancakes. I know you hate them but it's great for the kid in there." He said.

"I'm actually starving. I mean have you been thinking about telling her about us?" She said.

"Why would i be guilty about you bon?" He asked.

"Elena is my best friend and i never want to hurt her,Damon. Telling her about us would do that and you love her to much to hurt her like that." She said.

Damon stares at her blankly.

Elena spies on caroline as she sees her meeting klaus at the coffee shop.

"It's nice to see you haven't forgotten about me." Klaus said.

"What do you want?" Caroline asked.

"Your help into finding Camille." He said.

"Why should i?" She asked.

"Because you're the only one I can trust." He admitted.

"I can't believe you." Caroline said.

"Since when?" Klaus asked.

"You've done so much shady stuff. Do you really want me to list them?" She reflected.

"Elena told me to live my life. How i lived it while she was asleep isn't any of her business,bon." Damon said.

"I for one agree. Our past is our past and Elena doesn't need to know. Nothing came of it and it would hurt her." Bonnie said.

"I wouldn't say nothing came of it. I actually love..loved you and you screwed enzo in our bed." Damon said.

"Why must you always bring enzo up? I told you i didn't sleep with him." She conflicted.

"You are a liar which brings me to my question. How am i to know that the baby you're carrying really is just some test tube baby?" He reflected.

"Are you serious right now? Calling me a liar in my house,you insensitive bastard!" She yelled.

"You're the cold hearted bitch,bon. I saw you with my own eyes in bed with him. I thought moving you out,setting my old mattress on fire and screwing Elena a thousand times would scold that memory in my head out but it never did." He reflected.

"Get out." She said.

"What?" He retorted.

"Get out my house now,Damon!" She yelled.

"Fine. I was leaving anyway and by the way im marrying Elena." He said.

"What?" She asked.

"We're getting married." He repeated.

"That's great. I mean Elena will be happy and everyone will finally live the life like we all planned." She said.

"We're fine?" He asked.

"Why wouldn't i be? We never planned to get married and you two did. You can have a baby with her and stop wondering about mine. So go be happy with her,Damon." She said.

Damon nodded then left and bonnie tears rolled down her face. Her phone started ringing and she sees caroline face pop up.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Hey bonnie,i was wondering if you wanted to meet me at the cafe shop." Caroline said.

"My car is stuck out somewhere." She replied.

"Are you ok?" Caroline asked.

"Damon is marrying Elena and im officially moving away." She confessed.

"I'm sorry you had to find out about that." Caroline said.

"Me and damon should've stayed away from each other. I don't regret this baby but you know i just never pictured this." She said.

"You're going to feel different once you see that little girl or boy." Caroline said.

Bonnie chuckled a bit.

"What if i come by so you can go get your car?" Caroline suggested.

"I would appreciate that." She said.

Damon goes back to his house."Honey im home." He announced loud but noticed elena wasn't there. He went upstairs and took out mrs cuddles from a box in his closet. He smiled a bit then hugged her.

Caroline took bonnie to the clinic where her car was parked outside. Bonnie checked her car and noticed her tire was fixed.

Stefan opened his door to see Elena standing there."What are you doing here?"

"There's something you need to see." She said.
