Why dont we Imagines [ REQUESTS ARE CLOSED]

I sat in the living room looking out the window as the rain fell .
I heard slights footsteps running down the stairs and soon two bright smiles appeared by the door frame

" Hey Nana look what we found!" my five year old granddaughter exclaimed
I turned to look at her and her seven year old brother , who was holding an old album

" Oh my" i said
The kids brought the album to me one kid sat on my lap while the other  grabbed a chair sitting next to my wheel chair
I opened the book and the first picture made my heart melt . It was a picture of my best friends and i all going to our first Why Dont We concert .
From left to right was Reese , Nia , Kaila , Nayelie , Jada , Shalni , Kate and Me

A small smile appeared on my face . We had become great friends in just a little amount of time.

" Who are those Grandma?" My grandson asked

" Those are my best friends" i replied looking at the photo  and smiling

We turned the page and the group picture we took when we met the boys appeared . It was the best night of our lives .
Under that picture was another one .
It was me with my favorite member

" Hey ,That looks like grandpa!" The little girl sitting on my lap said

" Thats because it is " i said forcing a smile
" Your grandfather and i met at one of his concerts , he was my favorite member since day one and i loved him with all my heart , i never imagined that he would ever feel the same way " i said

The following pictures were my friends and i , me with Jonah , The boys and my friends .
Then those pictures turned into Our wedding pictures , then family which grew and grew and grew by the time the years passed

The last picture on the album was one of out granddaughter at her first communion

I smiled before closing the book handing it back to my granddaughter.

The phone rang interrupting the peace and quiet that ruled over the house.

The little girl stood up from my lap and went to answer the phone coming back later with a puzzled look on her face .

" who was it dear?" I asked rolling my chair to where she was

" i don't know , the person just said Daddy and hung up" she said shrugging her shoulders

I let out a laugh and shook my head

" That was your great aunt Nayelie , she's been making those phone calls since your grandfather and i moved in together when we were dating " i said smiling

" Gran " my grandson called out
" Yes dear?" I asked

" Do you miss grandpa?" He asked

I let out a heavy sigh and nodded
" Yes i do , very much" i said

" I miss him too " he said tears falling out of his eyes
" You remind me a lot of him you know , always making sure people are happy , a caring older brother " i said smiling at the boy who had his grandfathers eyes

" Would grandpa be proud that i made the baseball team?" He asked

" of course he would ! In fact I'm pretty sure He's your number one fan" i said
embracing the two kids in a hug

Just then the door opened and in came my entire family .

My son wheeled me to the dinning room where all the family was .
By family i mean the boys with their wives , My best friends , their  kids and Grand kids ,My kids  and my grand kids .

This was the first Christmas that i would spend without Jonah physically but i know that wherever i go , he's right there with me
