I still remember how we met

I was super nervous , today was my first day of pre-school , I was in front of my class room door fiddling with my dress while my mom was talking to the teacher , once they were done they both walked towards me with smiles on their face . My mom crouched in front of me and gave me a kiss on the cheek then stood up and waved goodbye and I waved back.

The teacher grabbed my hand and led me towards a table that had name tags , I grabbed the one that had my name on it and then walked to a group of girls that were playing with Barbies

¨Hi , can I play with you ?¨I asked sweetly , the girls looked at me and laughed

¨ We don't play with freaks like you¨ one said I sadly looked down and walked away and sat at a table away and alone .

Minutes later a boy with brown hair walked up to me , I didn't like boys , they had germs eww.

¨Why are you alone? ¨He asked curiously

¨Because I have no friends¨ I answered sadly

¨I can be your friend ¨He said with a smile plastered on his face

¨You're a boy , I'm a girl ¨ I told him

¨So? we can still be friends¨ he said

¨Okay , I Wanna be your friend ¨I said with a smile

he smiled back and grabbed my hand , we both walked to a matt were there were Toy story toys and began playing with them .

At lunch time we sat together he had a PB&J sandwich and a box of apple juice while I had a Ham and cheese sandwich with a box of OJ , we traded snacks and also shared the cookies that my mom had sent me .

After snack we went to the playground and went on the swings but there were only two and one was already taken s.

¨Ladies first ¨he said sweetly

I sat on the swing and he began pushing me , we both began laughing .

sadly the day ended and our parents came to pick us up but before we said our goodbyes we both made a promise to each other

¨Pinky promise that we will always be friends¨ I said holding out my pinky

¨Promise¨ he said

and to this day that promise hasn't been broken
