This book is 14 Sickles and 3 Knuts. (Nice conversion)
Ron confessed that instead of getting a new book, he spent his money on Dungbombs.
So in other words, Dungbombs are worth as much as this book. (My mom got it from a secondhand/used bookstore sometime ago).
On another note, this edition (not so sure about the others) takes place after the fourth book, or at least after the first Triwizard Tournament event with the Dragon. There's a few mentions of the second book, and Harry says a reference to the Fourth Book.
Also Harry drew a spider in the book, writing "You die Weasley," next to it. Why? Because Ron wrote that "Harry loves Moaning Myrtle."
