Okay, so the original Ultraman show came out in the 60's.
And we have a bunch shows since then, including Ultraman Nexus, Ultraseven X, Ultraman X, and Ultraman 80's.
And most of the time the shows have a different type of Ultraman, but some, like Ultraseven, have appeared multiple times.
So I googled Ultraman and looked at their world, the Land of Light....

These are just some of the Ultraman. And Ultrawomen.
APPARENTLY THEY HAVE A KING AND ULTRAMAN KING. AND A PRINCESS
AND EVIL ULTRAMEN
AND A SPACE GARRISON OF SORTS
But some of the Ultramen don't live on the Ultraman homeworld, like Ultraman Geed, which happens to be the newest show, and there are AUs as well.
You know there's a bunch of Ultramen when the show Ultraman Orb has the main character collecting the Ultras like Poke cards.

Anyway, if you decide to write an Ultraman fanfic for some reason, you have to look at every Ultraman and Ultrawoman before picking one. Some have human forms, others have to bond with humans, because of some artificial light they mad because their sun was dying. Or something.
If you wanted to you could make your own Ultra person, but you have to pick a name that isn't being used by any other Ultraman or Ultrawomen. I managed to come up with six but two of them sound evil - Ultraseven Chaos and Ultraseven Reaper.
Also you can't use the name Ken because that's the Father of Ultra's name.
But yeah there's a lot of Ultramen. And Ultrawomen.
