"I can't believe he would go this far." Angel nervously spoke as she drunk her second cup of coffee since they entered the police station.

"I can, you should've heard the way he spoke to me on the phone, Murphy Fox means business and it's getting more and more dangerous by the minute." I said feeling the stares from numerous cops who passed by us on their way out the station.

One guy particularly was staring hard and I had absolutely enough.

"Excuse me what are y'all looking at!? Instead of focusing on me y'all should be focusing on that guy who just stole one of y'all tires off y'all little police car!" I said pointing to a shady looking man outside who just took off running with a big ole tire in his arms.

"HEY I JUST GOT THAT TIRE!" The cop yelled running after the man.

I rolled my eyes as I shook my head at how Detroit was running their police force.

I looked over towards Angel who was bouncing up and down in her chair in nervousness and anxiety. She was shaking like a leaf and went to take another sip of coffee until I stopped her taking the cup out of hands and throwing it in the garbage next to me.

"Stop it you've had enough coffee, if you keep bouncing around like that they'll sign you up to be the Easter Bunny at the mall." I said rolling my eyes as she continued to shake.

"I can't help it, I hate being down here!" Angel whined.

"You think I want to be down here right now? No, but Alonzo wanted us to speak out on why Murphy Fox is after us and since Marshall's Studio literally just got blown up and Marshall's our close friend it looks rather suspicious that his studio just blew up for no reason." I explained.

"You think Alonzo knows his studio got blown up because of you?" She asked facing me as if I really had any idea on rather they knew or not.

If they didn't, I sure wasn't about to open my mouth and tell them, that's how people ended up getting killed. Especially since I knew half these cops down here were working with Murphy Fox himself.

Ever heard of the term Snitches get Stitches?

Yeah.

Well I wasn't about to test that theory out.

"Ms. Nicole Collins also known as Ms. 7-eleven girl nice to see you again." Officer Wilson said approaching them a smug smile on his face.

"Officer Wilson." I curtly replied.

"It's amazing how we just keep running into each other isn't it?" He spoke giving a short laugh.

"You run?" I asked seeing the smirk on his face shift.

"I see you brought a friend?" He asked ignoring the smart remark that was made and focused his attention on Angel who was shaking more than Don Knotts in the movie Shakiest gun in the west.

"Angel Williams is that correct?" He asked.

"Yes sir." She replied.

"Well would you two ladies care to explain what's going on between you two and Murphy Fox?" He asked looking back and forth between the two ladies.

"I don't know Murphy Fox." I stated.

"But he knows you?" Wilson asked his gaze making me feel more and more uncomfortable.

"I don't know if he does or doesn't now can I please leave?" I asked.

This man was not to be trusted his eyes were a cold winter blue, and were as beady as a rat. His posture reeked of over confidence almost as if he knew the answer to the question before he even asked it. And just based off the way he smirked I knew that this man was probably just as deadly as Murphy Fox. I knew they just had to be connected some how but I really didn't know how or why.

"Nicole we're just trying to help you." Alonzo said approaching with some files in his hand.

"I don't need help." I lied.

"Listen, within the last few weeks your neighbor has gotten killed, your car has been blown up and one of your little rapper friends that go by the name of Eminem had his studio blown to smithereens and your saying that absolutely nothing is going on?" Wilson spat while Angel winced in her seat.

"Well technically it was my car.." Angel spoke.

I shot her a look that said "Shut up." then she quickly shut up.

I held my composure knowing that this was indeed quite suspicious but there was no way I was dragging the cops into my problems.

"Yes that's what i'm saying." I stiffly replied.

Wilson turned towards Alonzo who shrugged, he shook his head while taking a deep breath.

"Okay you may leave." Wilson said.

"May I go to the restroom first?" I asked.

"Down the hall on the right." Alonzo directed.

I silently thanked him and made my way to the bathroom while Angel waited outside.

I stepped in the bathroom to check my appearance as I calmed myself down from all the questions Wilson was firing at me.

I knew he knew something, but I had no idea what that was.

I took another breath as I exited the restroom only to see that Officer Wilson was standing right outside the door like the creep he was.

"Listen Nicole, I know you saw something that night and I am going to find out what that is, so you can continue playing these little games all you want but in the end i'm going to win." He darkly spoke his eyes turning more and more cold by the second.

"Have a nice day officer Wilson." I said trying to move past him but he stepped right in my way blocking me.

"Okay, continue the game, but next time something blows up you and your little friends might be in it." He warned.

"Is that a threat?" I asked feeling my heart beat rise once again.

"No, Just consider it a friendly warning." He said stepping aside so I could finally move.

"Just consider this a warning."

I quickly walked down the hall not even bothering to look back at him. My suspicions were definitely confirmed.

Officer Wilson and Murphy Fox definitely had something to do with each other.

But what?
