"Well do you have any idea on who might've done this?" A police officer asked while taking a bite in a powdery donut that he had.

"N-no one in mind at all." Angel stuttered looking at Nicole with a dirty look that read "What have you gotten me into!?"

The police officer eyed her suspiciously before shrugging and taking another bite out of his donut that was crumbling all over her nicely swept floor.

"Um could you not put crumbs all over my floor Mr. Officer sir?" Nicole groaned getting a broom to sweep up his mess.

"Sorry Miss but when you can get free donuts all day long at Dunkin Donuts you should very well take advantage of it." He responded while opening his mouth a finishing off the donut with a little smirk on the corner of his lips.

"Well instead of taking advantage of the Donuts maybe you should take advantage of a tread mill because you look like you've had one to many." She bitterly replied dumping the dust pan into the trash can while plopping back down on her couch to see what else the police had to say.

"Excuse me Miss you do know i'm an officer of the law and should be respected as such." He said eyeing her.

"Well you sure didn't respect my floor." Nicole bit back wanting these officers to just leave for she could process what was going on.

"Um thanks for everything officers but i'm sure it was just some freak accident." Angel said feeling the hostility build within the room.

"You sure miss?" The officer asked focusing his attention back on Nicole.

"Yes positive, you can leave now." Nicole said leading the officer to the door.

"Actually miss, I'm going to assign you a police officer to make sure you feel more secure until we can figure out who might've blown up your car, they could be after you." The officer informed taking his walkie talkie and speaking into it "Officer Lozano could you come in here please." 

"Oh sir I really don't think an officer will be necessary." Angel tried to reason but the officer wasn't listening.

"Don't worry it's precautionary and it's only for a couple days until we can find something." He assured.

"I really don't think it's necess-"

"You called me David?" A man said suddenly entering the room.

"Ah there you are Alonzo." David said motioning to the two of them. "This is Ms. Williams and her...friend-

"Just call me 7-eleven girl everyone else does." Nicole shrugged but making sure to look over Alonzo once or twice.

Man was gorgeous!

"Well nice to meet you 7-eleven girl, Ms. Williams." His voice strong yet very professional.

"Hello Mr Gorgeous- I mean Lozano." Angel giggled blushing mad hard.

Angel was always the type of girl to swoon after any man she thought was cute and usually she came on too strong which resulted in her being single and always ready to mingle.

"So which one of you beautiful women will I be protecting?" He asked looking between the two of them.

"ME!" Angel exclaimed grabbing on to Alonzo's arm her mind already drifting off into future wedding plans.

"Well it's a pleasure." He said laughing at the girls enthusiasm.

"Well if that's all taken care of can you all please exit my apartment?" Nicole intervened not wanting to be bothered any longer.

"I'm afraid everyone is going to have to stay here for the next couple of days it's to dangerous for anyone to leave right now." Officer David informed.

"What I have to stay here?" Angel said looking over to Nicole who didn't at all looked pleased about this sudden situation.

"It's only for a couple of days i'm sure you won't mind 7-eleven girl?" Alonzo said shooting her a smile.

She couldn't believe this was happening right now. She seriously had to share her apartment with Angel and some type of hot smiling cop?

Okay well the last part wasn't to bad in her opinion.

But still.

If that cop finds out about the Murphy Fox situation there's no telling what might end up happening.

But what choice did she really have?

"No of course not, make yourself at home." She said through steady breaths trying to hold back the inner frustration and anger she had.

But of course the devil had to rear it's ugly head because her phone began to rang and much to her annoyance it was her manager Tyrone.

"Um excuse me I need to take this." Nicole excused herself from the room and went into the bathroom where she could have at least some privacy

"Hello?" She answered calmly.

"I need you to work an extra hour and half tomorrow because on the employees called in sick and the substitute can't come in until later." He said chewing on a stick of gum.

"You seriously can't find anyone else?" Nicole argued not feeling like dealing with this right now.

"No, now i'll pay you extra but I need you to do this for me..now have a good day." he said hanging up before she could object.

"What even is my life right now?" She said to herself.

Before she could ponder her life any more a knock was heard from the outside indicating they wanted her to open the door.

"Um ms. can I use your bathroom, those donuts just go straight through me." Officer David cackled from the other side.

LOL aw, poor Nicole... :( Hey guys so woww been a really long time but it's just been crazy lately! So much is going on right now in the world period, and I just don't know...but i'll tell you this..Life might be a tad bit crazy right now and no matter how your feeling right now about anything it'll get better so just keep that in mind. And with that being said I hoped you like this chapter and Eminem will be coming back in this really soon!! So see you guys with more chappies pretty soon! :D
