Your POV
I felt a weight on my chest as I started to wake up. I was confused until I looked down and saw Camila still asleep on top of me.
I smiled and pushed some hair out of her face, carefully untangling her legs from mine so I could slip out of the bunk without waking her.
I pulled the blanket back over her and closed the curtain before walking to the front lounge. I checked my phone and saw it was only about eight am.
"You're up early," I heard a raspy voice say as I shut the dividing door between the bunks and front lounge.
I nodded and sat down on the couch next to her, looking over at Ally who was sorting through the cabinets.
"When's call time for you?" Ally asked me when she noticed my presence.
"Not until twelve," I answered as I leaned my head back on the couch.
I still felt tired and having my family come was just going to drain me more.
"You look exhausted," Lauren said from her spot next to me.
"Wow, thanks for informing me about how terrible I look Laur."
"You know that's not what I meant," she said, shoving my shoulder.
I dramatically let myself fall when she shoved me and threw my legs over her lap so I was lying longways on the couch.
"When is your family showing up?" Ally asked as she sat on the opposite couch with a cup of coffee.
"My dad texted yesterday and said they should be here around ten. My mom never said when she'd be arriving."
"Are you still nervous?" Lauren asked, playing with a loss string on cuff of my joggers.
"A little I guess. Not near as much now that Camila knows what's going on," I said as I picked up a plastic ball that was sitting on the couch and started tossing it in the air to myself.
"Don't stress yourself out," Ally told me in her motherly tone.
"I'm trying not to."
"Good morning love bird- you're not Camila," Dinah said, looking at Lauren as she walked into the room and everyone turned to her.
"Camila's still asleep," I told Dinah when she snatched the ball out of the air before I could catch it.
"But I wouldn't be surprised if you just woke her up with how loud you said that," Lauren said as Dinah took a seat next to Ally and laid her head in her lap.
"Don't be snappy with me, Lauser. I'm awake before nine, and I'm in a good mood. You should be grateful."
I laughed as Dinah tossed the ball in Lauren's direction, hitting her in the neck. My phone vibrated and I pulled it out to see I got a text from my step sister.
