Your POV

I was woken up by a constant beeping and I could tell it was early because there were no streams of sunlight coming through the curtains. I rubbed my eyes, not bothering to deal with the annoying beeping that was still happening. I heard a groan next to me and looked down to see my girlfriend trying to drown out the noise of my phone's alarm with a pillow.

"Y/n, please turn it off."

I reached over to the nightstand and tapped my screen without looking. When the beeping didn't stop I resorted to repeatedly hitting my phone until I was successful in snoozing the alarm. Camila sat up and looked at me with an unamused expression.

"What?" I asked in the softest voice I could manage.

"Did you snooze it or turn it off?"

"Snoozed it?" I asked more than stated because I wasn't looking when I hit my phone, so I didn't know which button I pressed.

"Y/n, if you snooze it it goes off again in ten minutes," she said, trying to blink the sleep from her eyes.

I grabbed my phone and clicked on the home button, only to be temporarily blinded by how bright it was. When my vision cleared, I saw a timer counting down until the next time the alarm would go off.

"See," Camila said, rolling her eyes and climbing out of bed while I entered my password to delete the alarm completely.

I swung my legs off the edge of the bed and stretched my tired limbs before walking over to my suitcase to pull on a sweatshirt. I didn't even bother putting on a shirt under it before pulling it on and following Camila into the bathroom where she was washing her face. I caught a little coldness in her tone earlier and figured she was upset about having to leave today.

When she was finished wiping her face I walked up behind her and turned her around in my arms. I leaned forward and pressed a lingering kiss to her forehead, mumbling a small "I love you" before walking back to pack up my things. Soon after, we were both completely packed and ready to meet Lauren at the airport. After my little display of affection in the bathroom, her demeanor had softened and she now looked like she was trying not to break down. We made our way downstairs, me with the big luggage and Camila with her guitar and backpack.

"I'm gonna go tell my parents bye. You can come, too. They'll want to tell you goodbye," she spoke up and shot me a little smile that I could tell was fake because it didn't reach her eyes.

"Okay," I said, trying to reassure her with a small smile of my own.

She led me down the hall to what I assumed was her parent's bedroom. She walked over to the bed and slightly shook her mother. It didn't take long for her mom to wake up and soon they were embracing each other. She left me to say goodbye to her mother while she went over to her father's side of the bed.

"Hey, mijo." Her mom said, pulling me into her embrace.

"If Camilita says anything to you today just know she doesn't mean it. She is always upset when she has to leave after visiting."

I smiled at Sinu because of how well she knew her daughter

"Thank you for letting me stay with you guys."

"You are always welcome here. You are part of the family now," Sinu said and kissed me on the cheek before I went around to her husband.

"It was great having you stay with us, Y/n," Alejandro said, shaking my hand before pulling me in for a brief hug.

"Thank you for allowing me to stay with you guys."

"Anytime," he simply stated before laying back down.

I turned to the door and Camila grabbed my hand before leading me out of the bedroom.

"Let's go say goodbye to Sofi," she said leading me back upstairs to her sisters room.

We walked in and Camila shook the small girl awake and bid her goodbyes. I walked up and hugged the girl when she was done.

"Bye, Y/n. You have to come back again soon."

"I will, princess," I told her and kissed her on the forehead before she laid back down, falling asleep almost instantly.

I grabbed Camila's hand and we walked back downstairs to get our things. The driver was already waiting outside and to be there on time we would need to leave within the next ten minutes. I decided to text Lauren and tell her we were on our way.

Y/n🤙🏼:
Hey, we're on our way to the airport. Should be there in like 10 minutes.

Laurenzo🍞:
I'm here, they already led me through the gates.

Y/n🤙🏼:
alright see you in a minute

"Who's that?" I turned the Camila and showed her my phone.

"Laur. She's already there, so we don't have to wait for her."

"Alright," she responded and laid her head on my shoulder.

When we pulled up at the airport the driver got down and spoke to someone before airport staff went around and grabbed our luggage. We were then led in by two airport security guards, away from all of the main clutter of people, straight through the gates and security.

"Hey, lovebirds," I heard a husky voice say when we were led into a secluded waiting area.

"Hey," Camila answered, not taking her head off my shoulder or her hand out of mine.

Lauren shot me a knowing look and I sent her a smile in return.

"Did you guys eat breakfast yet?" Lauren asked, trying to change the subject from the silent conversation we had just had.

"No," I told her as I sat down next to Camila and she leaned into me more.

"Well, we aren't boarding for another fifteen minutes. Y/n, do you want to come help me pick up some food for the three of us?" I turned to Camila and she looked lost in her thoughts.

"Hey," I said and she picked her head up to look at me. "I'm gonna go with Lauren to pick up some breakfast for us. You can stay here if you want. We'll be right back."

She nodded in response and gave me a small smile. I kissed her gently on the cheek before getting up and following Lauren.

"It's nothing you did..." Lauren trailed off when we were out of earshot. "She's usually kind of upset when we leave after being home," she finished.

"Yea, Sinu said the same thing before we left."

"You know what usually makes her feel better?" I looked at Lauren and raised my eyebrows. "Banana bread."

I laughed at how I could have predicted that before we walked into a small coffee shop to get three coffees, three chocolate croissants, and a slice of banana bread.
