Once for TWICE

Title Songs Ranking + Jihyo NOT being a Main Vocalist + Signal Book Idea(s)

So, as you all know, TWICE has came out with some bomb title songs, am I right? So, I'm going to rank their current title songs in order from MY favorite to my least favorite.

It's just an opinion, guys.

1. TT

TT is just a really great song. I can relate to it so much, especially to my stupid crush. The MV is just adorable and creative with the Halloween concept, and how they connected it to Knock Knock. It's really catchy, and the dancing is easy to follow. Plus, the viewings for the MV passed SNSD's highest video viewings for I Got A Boy, and I was like YAAAAAS!!

2. Cheer Up

The overall message for the song was great to me. It told girls not to let their hearts be stolen so easily, and guys should work hard for the girl. The MV was so adorable, and TWICE really for the cheerleader concept. (Have you guys heard about the LIPBUBBLE fiasco? Any thoughts??) the dancing is fun and energetic and lyrics are catchy. The reason this isn't my number one is because I got bored of it after a while. And whenever it comes up in my playlist, I almost always skip it.

3. Signal

The beat was FAB! The song is FAB! People say it's not catchy, but it IS! Dancing fits the song, MV is my favorite of all time, line distribution was fairer, and TWICE experimented with the song and whole album. Me likey. Only reason it's not number one is because, to me, it doesn't sound like a title track. After a few listens, I began to think it sounded more like just another song on an album. I'm not saying I don't like the song (it's like my favorite by far), but it doesn't sound like a title song. Take a listen to all their title songs, and then Signal, and you may or may not agree. I dunno. JIHYO DIDN'T GET MANY LINES.

4. Like Ooh-Ahh

Great debut song, in my opinion. Zombie-themed MV? Great way to capture someone's attention. Though, the song itself (I think) just talked about how pretty they are. Don't get me wrong, they're BEAUTIFUL, but it really wasn't a song a lot of people would connect to, you know?

5. KNOCK KNOCK

I dislike this song. When I first heard it, I had to listen to it a lot of times to get into it. It's cute, the MV is cute (DAHYUN SUNG!!) and it had a light atmosphere in it. Dancing is adorable.

JIHYO GOT INJURED AND COULDN'T PERFORM! PLUS, WHAT LINES???

I'm upset that Jihyo, the MAIN vocalist, doesn't get many lines. Nayeon and Mina gets the most lines, and Mina's just a SUB-vocalist! I'm not hating or anything, but COME ON JYP! STAHP TREATING MY BABY LIKE TRASH!!!

On a positive note, Jungyeon got MORE lines!!!

Okay, and now for my SIGNAL book.

Since the M/V came out, I got an idea on where I could take it. Has anybody seen Suicide Squad? If so, you should have somewhat of an idea of what I'm trying to do.

Okay, the alien is related to TWICE somehow (I won't tell, because spoilers), and he's trying to capture them, but he doesn't know where they're at. The government sees him as a giant threat, and wants to take him down. So TWICE is trained to defeat him, and are sent out to defeat him (with Somi tagging along, somehow).

But, they aren't aware of his own super weapon. He's able to make women swoon over him, unwillingly. And Somi's the only one able to get them to snap back to reality. Or something like that?

OOH! Maybe I could have her send signals to TWICE to keep them from falling in love with the alien! I'm clever 😏

Not really.

Should I keep Somi with having parents? I think I should make her an orphan too, since I'm sure her dad won't let her go off and fight some alien without any powers. (She will not have any powers. She will be normal.)

Help? Thoughts? ANYTHING??

Those who had read it, any ideas as to where I could go? I have two chapters written in advance, but I'll accept all ideas!

EXTRA

I've read somewhere that Jihyo had to lose even MORE weight for the Signal MV, and I was upset. I also have an idea for another of my one billion story ideas.

It'll be like a drama-type thing where I write about the idols that have been criticized for being "fat". (If they're fat, then I must be a hippo.) It'll be fiction, but will be based off of real events.

I need another idol or two that have had this problem. I already have Jihyo, and I have Kyla from PRISTIN (it enrages me). Plus, any ship for Jihyo? I need someone who can drive her to her end goal, while still keeping her sane. If there's nobody, I'll default it to Mina or Jungyeon, because why not? 😈
