Marcia shook her head vigorously as she stepped out of the stadium and into the streets of Pyrite Town.
What did he mean by that? Marcia thought, the image of his eyes flashing through her mind. Whatever, I can't afford to waste time thinking about that right now. I need to find Cail, and there's only one place he'd be right about now, Marcia sighed, adjusting her camera bag as she continued on.

"Ladies and gentlemen of Pyrite Town!" The announcer boomed, gaining the attention of the crowd. "We have come to the final match of our gauntlet and might I just say, the battles have been fantastic! The savagery, the valor! All of it has been simply glorious, don't you agree!?"
The crowd roared with excitement and applause. "Mirez! Mirez! Mirez!" Chanted the crowd.
In the stands, Valen, Willie and Kai, sat back and watched as the spotlights illuminated the two trainer circles in which Wes and his final challenge of the gauntlet, Mirez, would be standing.
"So he's against Mirez huh? I guess they really wanted to give Wes a challenge. Then again, Cail was able to win against him, but he had four on his team to face him with. Wes only has three," Willie stated, crossing his arms and propping his feet up.
"Yeah, and that musclebound meathead doesn't play too nice either. His team is really tough to beat. Hopefully Wes' usual team will be enough," Kai replied, becoming slightly nervous.
Valen slurped on a Mago Berry Icee and flipped a page of a brand new magazine. "Mirez is strong, but he's an idiot..." Valen added.
Willie raised a brow as he saw the new magazine in Valen's hands. It was the Colosseum: Champion's Edition. "Really Valen? Did you buy another one?"
Valen shrugged. "This one's got some good articles," Valen replied, taking another sip of his drink.
"I'll bet it has a few tasteful photos of Venus and her associates huh?" Willie jabbed.
"Actually, it has information on the construction project that's been ongoing since last year. Seems like they're almost done," Valen replied casually. "And yes, Venus is featured, but in her own column."
Kai rolled her eyes. "Leave him be Willie, the match is about to start."
