"What do you mean there aren't anymore matches going on today?" Asked a slightly agitated Wes.

"I'm sorry sir, but we just aren't accepting anymore competitors right now. You'll have to come back another time if you want to get in. You need to be here early if you want to have a shot at entering," the receptionist replied calmly.

Wes frowned and crossed his arms. "Great...well, thanks," Wes muttered, turning to exit the Colosseum.

As he did, he made it to the bridge, he spotted Kai making her way across. She looked up and gave him a wave which he reluctantly returned. Taking note of the irritated vibes he was giving off, she marched his way and stood in front of him, hands on her hips.

"Why the long face Wes?" She demanded, raising a brow at his expression.

Wes shook his head. "They're full. I can't enter anything until tomorrow morning," Wes muttered.

"Ahhh. Yeah, those lines start early. You need to wake up at the butt-crack of dawn if you want to get in. It's crazy. Lucky for me, I'm a morning person. And from the looks of things...yoooouuuuu...aren't," Kai said with a nervous laugh as she saw the tired expression on Wes's face. "Did you even sleep?" Kai queried.

Wes folded his arms and shook his head. "I... have a hard time getting sleep," he replied.

"Why's that?" Kai pressed.

"It's complicated..." was Wes's rebuttal.

"Care to talk about it?" Kai inquired further.

"No..." Wes said flatly as he stepped past her.

Kai frowned and stalked after him. What was his deal? If anything, she was going to figure it out one way or another.

"Well, if you don't wanna tell me, that's fine. I can respect that," Kai stated following Wes as he walked over the bridge and back into town.

The two came to the rusty police station only for Wes to suddenly stop and put his arm out to tell Kai to do the same.

"What's up, why are we stopping?" Kai asked only to direct her attention forward to see three individuals dressed in red vests, with white tank tops beneath. They had on black cargo pants and wore sunglasses to hide their eyes. Two of them had shaved heads while the other one, a female, kept her hair shoulder length.

Wes narrowed his eyes as he watched them talking to one of the officers of the town. He glanced around to see that some people were shrinking back from the new entrants in town, showing there were citizens that weren't ruffians that lived in Pyrite Town.

"Oh officer, we don't mean to cause any trouble

"Oh officer, we don't mean to cause any trouble. We're just here to file a missing person's report, that's all," the young woman stated in a honey sweet tone.

"As if I would believe you. You guys are from that wretched Team Snagem. There's no way I'm going to let you just roam about as you wish!" The officer snarled, reaching down to the club by his belt.
