Prince Wook held Hae Soo's hand and did not let go until they reached her room.

"Why do you always put your life in danger? Does it please you to make everyone worry? Do you really want to make things hard for me?"

"I'm sorry, Prince Wook," Hae Soo said. "I don't want to make you worry but I can't let people get hurt. Not when I can do something to help."

Though I was kind of regretting helping Prince Jung right at this moment... when you look this angry.

"You should have called for help instead of going there all by yourself."

"If I come with Chae Ryung to ask for your help then Prince Jung would have lost an arm already. We would have been too late to help him."

"Hae Soo!" Prince Wook said, looking deeply frustrated. "Why don't you just stay inside this house? Act like a lady and stay away from people that will only bring you trouble."

"Prince Wook, I can't do that. Please, don't punish me with that," Hae Soo pleaded. "I will be very careful from now on. Or to not make you worry, you can teach me how to defend myself."

"No," Prince Wook firmly refused. "I will defend you myself. I will go with you every time you want to go outside the palace."

"I can't waste your time like that," Hae Soo blushed in embarrassment. "I'll just practice self-defense."

"No," Prince Wook firmly said.

"But I don't want to cause you an inconvenience."

"I'd rather be inconvenienced than lose you," he said and the seriousness in his eyes made her heart race.

"I can take care of myself." Hae Soo said, holding her pounding chest.

"No, you can't," Prince Wook said as he put his hands on Hae Soo's shoulder making her blush even more. "You are a lady. You should be protected."

"But..."

"I want to do this, Hae Soo. I want to protect you," he said, leaning his face closer to Hae Soo.

It was as if he wanted to kiss her.

Hae Soo quickly looked away and pulled herself away from his grasp.

"We already talked about this," Hae Soo said with her heart pounding harder than ever. "We should take things slowly, right?"

"I thought I can do that," Prince Wook said and the longing in his eyes made her heart waver. "I used to be a patient person. But when you changed and become that honest, cheerful, and brave... something inside of me had also changed. Hae Soo, I..."

Hae Soo yawned, stretched her hands, and said, "I suddenly feel sleepy. I think I should sleep. Good Night, Prince Wook."

Hae Soo lied down on her bed and covered herself with a blanket and she was relieved when she heard Prince Wook left the room without saying another word.

Hae Soo sighed and pulled the blanket away from her face. She never thought that Prince Wook's feelings would develop that fast. It was too fast for Hae Soo to believe. She was still adjusting as Hae Soo and now two princes had already confessed their love for her. It felt too good to be true. It was like a bait that if she had taken would bring her to another death.

How many times must I die to reach heaven?

But... Hae Soo, do you like Prince Wook?
