"What are you avoiding McKenzie?" I heard Brock as I stared out at the clouds slowly drawing in.

I didn't respond as I focused on them before feeling his arms wrap around me.

We were in Canada, at the same cabin where Brock had decided to end it all with me last year and yet we were back and I was the reason...

"What are you doing here?" I breath as I had Paul behind me and was ready to make a run for it but saw Brock standing against the limo.

"You lost and well I wanted to be here. I knew I couldn't go inside after going after that piece of shit so I am here.."

Paul who had been calling after me as soon as we got backstage was now silent and I knew he wouldn't be saying anything.

I was suspended for the rest of the week. I knew it was merely the week because Hunter was doing it without Vince's signature simply to get back at me for going off script.

"I just want to get away.." I whispered and he frowned but pulled me into a hug.

"We can go anywhere you want Kenzie.." I heard him hearing a hint of happiness at the idea of going away.

"Canada..."

"I'm not avoiding anything. I just wanted a week in the middle of nowhere with you"

"We have our home for that but yet you choose the place we both know doesn't have good memories for us baby"

I sighed and turned in his arms.

"It does..." I set my cup down beside us before wrapping my arms around his waist and his arms tightened around me despite his frown.

"I remember you sneaking kisses in the kitchen because despite your mind being filled with confusion you loved me and you couldn't stay away. You saving me down the hill as I was heading at a fast pace because I was too excited to actually stop myself. You chasing me through the woods while my laughter filled between the trees before you found me, like you always did, and wrapped me in your arms. Making everything perfect before snow fell onto us ruining our perfect moment but it wasn't actually ruined... Even moments before it all went downhill I was the first person you wanted to tell about your trophy deer even though you know I hate you killing these innocent animals for fun. Or how you tried to hide the fact that we were together when Steve questioned you while you guys thought I was asleep. It might not have had the best memories but it had some of them.. " I sighed as I tried seeing the other side of the place I once hated.

He tried to hide his smile and I jumped up and kissed the tip of his nose but he quickly wrapped his arms around me and kept me in place, causing me to look down at him.
