"Matt your too hard on yourself"

"I just want my father to be proud of me"

"He is proud of you love"

"No he's not"

"Babe I feel like your trying to follow your dad's footsteps look I know you want to be like him but don't you are Matt my boyfriend, my love you make your own path every Ruler is different and trust me you'll be a great king"

Matt smiled and grasped your hand

"Thanks babe" he quickly kissed your lips

You smiled "I'm always her for you"

The two of you stared out towards the village as you sat on the edge of the castle wall feet dangling like puppets

"Um one thing (y/n)"

"Yes love?"

"Help me get off of here!!"

You couldn't help but burst out in laughter

"Now you wait here. Your father has a marvelous surprise for you" Zarkon said to Pidge

currently the two were in the lands canyon

near a rock, underneath a small tree

"Oooh. What is it??" Pidge asked excited

"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, now would it?" Her uncle Zarkon said furiously

"If you tell me, I'll still act surprised"

He laughed "You are such a bad kid"

"Come on, Uncle Zar"

"No-no-no-no-no-no-no this is just for you and your daddy you know, a sort of... father-daughter...thing...."

Pidge was questioning her uncle's
attitude, but soon shrugs it off

"Well! I'd better go get him"

"I'll go with you" She got up but he quickly pushed her down

He yelled in loud snapping tone

" No!"

Pidge tilted her head Zarkon realize what he had done and gained his composure

"Heh heh heh no... Just stay on this rock. You wouldn't want to end up in  another mess like you did with the hyenas"

Pidge was shocked her eyes widen 

"You know about that?"

"Pidge, everybody knows about that"

Pidge rubbed the back of her neck feeling embarrassed

"Really?"

"Oh, yes. Lucky Daddy was there to save you, eh? "

He was clearly enjoying himself he places his hand on Pidge's shoulder

"Oh...and just between us, you might want to work on that little roar of yours. Hmm?"

"Oh... Okay..."

Zarkon pats her roughly on the head, then moves off

"Hey, Uncle Zar will I like the surprise?"

He turns back over his shoulder

"Pidge, it's to DIE for"

After a distance of the rock, Zarkon reaches the edge and views the very large herd of wildebeest

the size of the herd comes across the field

The hyenas are waiting off of the edge of the herd, there hidden under a rock arch

Banzai stomach growls

Shenzi yells "Shut up"

"I can't help it. I'm so hungry!"

"Stay put"

"Well... can't I just pick off one of the-"

"No! We wait for the signal from Zarkon"

Zarkon is mounting on the rock in view of the hyenas

"There he is let's go"

Pidge paitently sits on the rock

" Little roar. Puh!"

Then a lizard walks past her she growls at it

" Rarrr!"

The lizard has no reaction to this first attempt she jumps down and tries again

"Rrrraowr-nh!"

She moves closer again and inhales
deeply

"RAOWR!"

Her roar echoes around the canyon
The echo is soon eclipsed however, by a low rumble

Pidge looks down and sees pebbles jumping

The herd comes over the view of the gorge

Pidge becomes terrified and runs
off in front of the herd

  The Hyenas are seen chasing
And shooting the wildebeest herd  

In the short distance from the canyon The king and Zazu are walking

"Oh look, sire the herd is on the move"

"Odd..."

Zarkon runs up to them out of breath

"Holt Quick! Stampede! In the gorge. Pidge is down is there!

"Pidge?" The three rush to go get her

Pidge is running and climbs up a
dead tree

Zazu jumps ahead of the King and Zarkon and heads down into
the canyon he spots Pidge

Pidge is clinging  to the tree

" Zazu! Help me!!" She yelled across the herd

"Your father is on the way! Hold on!" Zazu yelled

Pidge starts losing her grip     "Hurry!" She cries
