"Tornado did you-"
"Yes, Zatara we saw. Earth's guard has failed, initiate terrestrial defense measures." RT ordered, "I must join the league, and protect the Earth at all costs, but should we fail, the responsibility falls to you."
"We stand by you." Aqualad nodded.
RT left and after he did we started to watch the news. Things weren't looking good. The Justice League was losing.
"We are Earth's heroes now." I announced.
"We need a plan. Earth's weapons will not work and it has become painfully clear that a direct approach will not work." Aqualad sighed.
"Here's where the aliens are now." Robin brought up a globe.
"This one get lost?" Superboy pointed to a lone ship at the top of the globe.
"That's the Fortress of Solitude. We'll target that one ship."
We all changed into thermal, white versions of our uniforms and left.

Once we got to the Fortress of Solitude I moved the ice up to trap the ship. Artemis blocked the exit with a foam arrow. Superboy jumped onto the ship and started to pull out the cannon. Wolf suddenly pushed him out of the way and got shot. We all were silent for a moment before continuing to work. Something didn't seem right about this. I looked down at my wrist and pulled my fingerless glove off. No wrap. I sprained my wrist not to long ago, the wrap should still be there. I moved my wrist in a circle slowly. No pain, it was fine. I put my glove back on.
More alien ships flew towards us. Everyone started running towards the bio-ship.
"Got you covered, get inside, I'm almost there!" Artemis yelled.
She shot down one of the ships, but the other one shot her before she could reload her bow.
"Artemis!" M'gann screamed.
"Get inside!" I ordered.
I put my arms out in front of me and clenched my fist causing the ice under the alien ship to be crushed. I sprinted back to the bioship and ran inside.
I sat silently in my seat listening to everyone mourn the death of Artemis. Something still wasn't right about this. The league wasn't dead, Artemis wasn't dead, Wolf wasn't dead. First the wrap, and KF's arm was fine, now this.

We landed at the Hall of Justice to help the army. We walked inside and I looked at the destroyed statues of the justice League.
M'gann gasped and pulled out Martian Manhunter from a heap of rubble.
"That means everyone else could still be alive." I realized.
More enemy ships flew towards us and destroyed the bio-ship. Everyone retreated into the library.
"Send the soldiers first." Aqualad ordered.
"Belay that you four are assets we can not lose."
Martian Manhunter went in first, then M'gann. I pushed Robin in front of me.
"You go."
"I care too much about you to let that happen." He pushed me through the zeta tube. The familiar tingling sensation spread throughout my body.
I looked around the cave and sighed sadly. This was the only place left.
"If they're keeping their victims they'll be on the mother ship atop what used to be Smallville." I reported pulling up a map, "Superboy, you'll distract them."
