30. pink & yellow

Oh boy, that tsundere pinkette.

The minute you told her that you had a date with Sasuke, she went crazy and she attacked you with a ton of questions! But you actually told her the plan you had in mind, instead of waisting your time answering all those questions.

You didn't exactly expect for Sakura to take a date so seriously, it was a simple date! Well.. a double-date actually, because you were bringing Naruto and Katsumi along.

Of course, Sasuke had asked you on a date and it was supposed to be just the two of you, but you knew you made a promise to Katsumi and you weren't the type of person to break promises.

Now back to Sakura, like I was saying, she took this very seriously. She wanted you to look your best, your absolute best and she helped Katsumi too, but her top priority was you.

You actually told her that you had made a promise to Katsumi, but she just shook her head and said;

"You don't have to deny you're feelings, (f/n)-san. When a girl truly falls in love her feelings don't change that easily."

The pinkette seemed to not like Sasuke in that way anymore, well, from your point of view it didn't seem like she still had feelings for him.

But..was it really that obvious that you liked Sasuke? No, you hid your feelings well, you were an expert! The problem was that people sometimes were actually very smart indeed. One of those people were Shikamaru and Sakura, the people that can actually see through you.

On the other hand, Sasuke was smart too but he didn't show it, at all and Naruto has been best friends with you since forever! He probably knows everything about you already, and you knew everything about him.

Soon, your thoughts were interrupted by Sakura's voice.

"Kyaa! You're so cute, (f/n)!" Sakura giggled and turned off the iron curler before letting it down. She actually felt quite satisfied of her work, she never knew she could be this good in curling a female's hair perfectly. ((Reader-chan, please ignore this if you have short hair.))

"Wow..Sakura-chan, where did you learn this?" Katsumi asked as she took a lock of your curled hair in her hand gently. "You're very good!"

Sakura smiled. "Well..As you know,
(F/n) and I have this friend named Ino." She explained and looked at you from the corner of her eyes.

"Mhm! And she is into that girly stuff, y'know?" You jokingly said and laughed softly.

"Ah..I bet she's really nice!"

"We know her as Ino-Pig." You and Sakura said at the same time, and after you did, a doorbell could be heard throughout the house.

"He's here!" Katsumi started to panic and started to inhale and exhale as if trying to calm herself down. "Sasuke-kun..!"

"Katsumi, you have to get yourself together!" Sakura placed her hands on Katsumi's shoulders and shook her body gently.

You rolled your eyes playfully and walked over towards the door and opened it, to reveal no other than the male you have been waiting for.

"Naruto! Hurry up and get in, its cold out there!"

"Wait- What Naruto?!" Katsumi questioned and soon calmed down as she saw for herself that Naruto was in the doorway.

"Don't worry about it, (f/n)!" The blonde grinned happily like he always did, and walked in. "Hii Sakura-chan, (f/n)-chan, & Katsumi!"

"I thought I was going to be third wheeling..I'm so glad-" Katsumi sighed of relief and relaxed her shoulders.

"Not only that that, Katsumi, we'll be switching dates." You informed and did jazz-hands with Sakura. "Surprise!"

Then you noticed the aura around the four of you wasn't the best one, it was actually uncomfortable.

Sakura didn't have the happiest expression on her face and neither did Naruto, and you began to question yourself what has gotten into them. But guess who didn't approve of this?Sakura and Naruto! Because they knew what were your true feelings towards the Uchiha.

"Y-You were serious about that promise.. (F/n)?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?"

Out of no where, Katsumi started to sniffle and only a few seconds later, tears escaped her eyes and now it was Sakura's turn to panic.

"Her mascara! Oh no, (f/n)!"

"On it!"

"Don't cry Katsumi 'ttebayo!"

"I-Its tears of joy..!"

When a girl truly falls in love, her feelings don't change that easily.
