First period went by so slow.
Especially since Naruto wasn't here with you to keep you company. Maybe you should've gotten in trouble with him, along his side with Sakura and Hinata.
You didn't realize how lonely you were without Naruto. He always seem to be there when you need him, so where is he now?
Did he already accomplished that by taking the blame of the fight letting you go?
What has Sasuke done?
You didn't saw him this morning, where could he be?
Naruto..
You didn't like feeling this way, you didn't like it at all. You were happy this morning, full of excitement to see your friends again.
To see Sasuke again, but..was he the one you actually wanted to see?
You felt weak, you wanted to cry, but why? This wasn't something to cry about, you had to stay strong and ignore those rumors.
But you didn't care about those rumors.
Naruto..!
"I'm sorry..i'm late 'ttebayo!"
You perked your head up, hearing the sound of the voice you knew too well and there he was.
That's when you realized..your actual feelings.
Has Sasuke been nothing to you all this time?
Naruto was the one you wanted to see, have you been mistaken all those times? What happened to you? No, why is this happening?
Why?
"Tch, late again Naruto?" The teacher asked looking at your blonde bestfriend as the knucklehead just grinned.
"Yup! Had to take care of stuff, Sensei." He replied and made his way towards his desk, which was right next to yours.
Naruto sat down and turned his head to look at you, only to find you were already staring at him. He couldn't help but blush and chuckle since he noticed the way you were looking at him.
"(F/n)-chan..don't stare at me like that."
"Thank you."
"What do you mean?"
"Thank you for everything you do for me."
"(F/n)-"
"Thank you."
The blonde smiled and soon had tears on the corners of his eyes. He sniffled and laughed quietly. "(F/n)-chan.."
You laughed quietly along with him and ruffled his blonde locks gently and with care. "Are you crying, Naruto?" You teased and poked his shoulder.
"N-No, I'm not 'ttebayo..!"
"Sure~" You teased one more time before looking down at your work. "Just get to work, tell me if you need any help, okay?"
Naruto took one last glance at you from the corner of his eyes and nodded. "Yeah!"
MEANWHILE WITH SASUKE
It was peaceful.
Sasuke closed his eyes and sighed as he heard the conversation you had with Naruto. His lips curved into a big smile as he opened his eyes once again, only to be meet with sunlight rays touching down on his pale skin.
He knew he didn't have much time.
He wanted the best for you, and that's what he was going to accomplish for you.
He couldn't do it without his friend, your best friend, Uzumaki Naruto.
The raven-haired male looked down at his phone and ended the call, the last thing hearing was your laugh along with Naruto's.
"Thank you.. (F/n)." Sasuke said below a whisper and tears began to roll down his cheeks.
"Sasuke..we have to go." His older brother called out to him and walked towards the tree Sasuke was standing in front of.
The exact tree both of you made good memories in, happy moments together.
Sasuke bit his bottom lip to prevent sobs from being heard, but he couldn't hold back anymore. He fell down on his knees and began to cry without stop.
He had to make the best for it, he wanted to make it right.
He didn't want you to suffer.
He needed more time but he knew he couldn't change the time he had left with you and with everybody else.
Life is cruel and he knew it.
He knew it.
