"Welcome to...Psychology." Doctor Strange pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

"Today we are going to continue reading about how bias can erode your view of other people and cultures." Strange said, writing something on the chalk board.

He paid no attention to Robin.

"Now, remember to write this down," Doctor Strange cleared his throat, "Your culture is what you have grown up around. Everyone has a different culture and some of you may find that you have similarities and vast differences between you and another person." Strange said.

Richard quickly scribbled down what he heard.

"The key to being a great psychologist is to have an open mind and be unbiased when you are psycho-analyzing someone else." Doctor Strange went on.

Richard already knew all this stuff because of Batman, but he did find Psychology to be fascinating from the notes he was taking from Strange.

"Sit down." Black Manta said coldly as everyone filed into his classroom.

Everyone quickly found a seat.

Except for Robin because there wasn't a seat for him.

"Tisk. Tisk. Well, well, well. It seems we now have a hero within our presence." Black Manta sneered.

Robin didn't reply.

"Well, Robin. How does it feel to be a villain now? Someone who's breaking the law instead of upholding it?" Black Manta asked.

Robin still didn't answer, not wanting to provoke the villain unnecessarily.

"I asked you a question!" Manta yelled, hitting a ruler against his desk.

"Come here." Black Manta snapped.

Robin walked up to the front of the room until he was standing right across from Manta.

SLAP!

Robin's head snapped to the left roughly.

"You'll answer me next time. Now, tell the whole class how it is." Black Manta's eyes sparkled with evil delight.

"Fine." Robin said after a few moments.

"Fine? Hum... how does the class think about that?" Manta asked.

The class started yelling out their opinions.

'We should make him pay for what he's done in the past!' some screamed.

'We should kill him!' others yelled.

'Embarrass him!' a few screamed out, evil mischief and glee in their eyes.

Black Manta held up a hand and the class immediately shushed.

"Hear that, Robin? What do you think should happen?" Manta asked.

"I think we should continue with Heroes 101 class like how the schedule says." Robin said.

"Hummm. No, no, no. That won't do. We need to give you an official welcome to our school for villains." Black Manta grinned evilly.

"Now, what to do. What to do." Manta paced the classroom.

A few people put their hands up.

"Yes. I know what." Black Manta had a slightly crazed look on his face.

"First, some embarrassment. To teach you your place. Then, we'll make you do something. But that'll come later. When you know your place." Black Manta said.

Robin bit his tongue, wanting to say, 'Do your worst.'

He knew that Manta would do his worst.

When Richard left the classroom,  he refused to cry.

No matter what, he couldn't show weakness.

HE WOULDN'T!!!

That's the first rule to survival.

Don't show weakness.

Robin clenched his fists and walked into his next class, Science with Mister Freeze.

"Hello, Robin." Cold eyes leered at him.

Robin didn't say anything, didn't look at anyone, and didn't respond to anything.

Cold eyes narrowed at the little bird.

"Stay after class." Freeze said.

After that, Freeze didn't bother Robin again throughout the class, only giving him glances every now and again.

Soon, the bell rang and everyone else filled out of the class room.

"Robin. Don't worry. You'll be back with the annoying Bat." Freeze said.

Robin looked up in confusion, "I thought you hated me."

"I do. But I hate that Slade took something that's mine. And I'm sure the others at Gotham will hate it too." Freeze cracked his knuckles, "And make no mistake, Robin. You are ours."

Robin gulped but nodded.

Right now, he'd do whatever he needed to do to get out of Slade's grasp.

'Economics with Lex Luthor' was his last class before dinner.

"Sit down!" Lex Luthor yelled as he walked briskly into the classroom.

"You're going to learn budgeting. You'll need to learn this because you all aren't going to be millionaires right away." Lex said.

Lex continued on talking and writing stuff down onto the white board.

However, Robin did see all of the glances and looks that Lex sent his way.

Robin somehow made his way back to the dorm where Slade and he were staying.

"How was the first day of many, Robin?" Slade asked.

Robin fell onto the couch.

Slade rolled his eyes at the childish behavior...that was, until he caught Robin's shoulders shaking.

"Robin?" Slade asked, uncertain.

A sob tore from Robin's throat.

Slade pinched the bridge of his nose, "What happened?"

"Black Beetle...Black Manta...hit...Johnny Rancid... then he..." was all Slade could hear through Robin's muffled talking.

"Speak clearly!" Slade yelled as he tightly gripped Robin's arm and pulled him up from his position.

Tears were flowing fast and thickly down Robin's cheeks.

His face was flushed red and his breathing came in gasps between sobs.

"What. Happened." Slade demanded to know.

Robin proceeded to tell him about the day's events between Black Beetle, Johnny Rancid, and Black Manta.

Slade let out a deep breath through his nose.

"I-I wanna go home." Richard dared to say.

"But Richard...you are home." Slade held Richard tightly to his chest.

Richard buried his face into Slade's chest as he cried a bit more.

Maybe...Maybe Slade wasn't so bad...

For the moment. :3

How's the length on this one?

And like what I did with Freeze?
