Figuring Out the Plan

Green Arrow came out from underneath the metal piece he had been working on.

He wiped his forehead with his arm, causing a streak of grease to smudge on his forehead. 

"Pass me the torch." Green Arrow asked.

Miss Martian passed the blue torch to Green Arrow.

He lit the fire and started torching two pieces of metal together.

"If this is going to work, we need a way to transport this thing." Green Arrow said.

Batman pulled up from his spot he was working on.

"I know. We're going to transport it by plane." Batman said. "Then a helicopter." 

"This is a lot of work for just one man." Kid Flash said.

"He's not a man. He's something much...more." Black Canary frowned.

"And the longer Robin is with Slade, the more damage is done." Black Canary said.

"How so?" Kid Flash didn't understand.

"Slade is a master manipulator. He can destroy Robin's mind. The longer Robin is with him, the higher risk that Slade has found a way to manipulate Robin into doing something." Black Canary said, "Slade is dangerous, not only physically, but also mentally. He'll take the Robin we knew and turn him into someone...horrible."

"When will this get done?" Kid Flash asked, now nervous about Robin being with Slade.

"When it does." Batman growled.

"Hey, I need a bolt and washer." Atom said, popping up from his side for a moment.

"You're SURE this will hold Slade?"  Wonder Woman asked.

"It will. I looked over the blueprints. This will work." Atom reassured her.

"How about I just punch him?" Wildcat growled.

"Slade is genetically advanced. You won't do much damage. And if you do some damage, he'll heal fast." Question answered. (Wow, that's weird :P )

"Great!" Stargirl said sarcastically. 

"So, where do we put him after we capture him?" Supergirl asked.

Batman didn't answer.

"You didn't think about that?" Wonder Woman asked.

"I did. I was going to throw him into the ocean, where he'd either drown or get crushed." Batman grumbled.

"That's murder!" Diana yelled.

Batman grumbled some more.

"How about an island?" Supergirl asked.

"OH! An abandoned spooky house!" Kid Flash joined in the suggesting. 

"A snake pit is my favorite." Question said.

"How about Pluto?" Red Arrow asked.

"The sun." Batman growled.

"That's still murder." Wonder Woman pointed out.

"I don't like him." Batman said.

"We know!" Almost everyone said.

"Wrench?" Atom asked for.

Rocket handed him a wrench. 

"Done." Green Arrow came up from his side.

"And I like the island idea." Green Arrow said.

"How about we make him do community service too?" Rocket frowned.

"Okay, so no to the island, I get it!" Green Arrow said.

"No. I think that's the only option we have." Batman said.

"As long as no one else is on it, and no one else ever gets to it." Black Canary said.

"Could we put a force field around it? Keep Slade in and others out?" Atom suggested.

"That could actually work... We'd need time to make it though. More time to make the force field than this anyways." Batman said.

"I can start working on some blueprints." Atom offered.

"I'll take over here." Question grabbed Atom's wrench and started working where Atom left off.

"Okay, let's get this done though. Black Canary, can you find an island that no one visits. Somewhere in the middle of water where it'd be hard to get shipwrecked. Someplace where you'd have to deliberately go to." Green Arrow asked.

"You could just say an island that's isolated." Black Canary said.

"My way is more fun!" Green Arrow pouted.

"Men." Wonder Woman rolled her eyes.

"Hey!" Green Arrow frowned.

Miss Martian gave a giggle.

"Done." Batman said.

Soon, everyone was done working on the panel. 

"Let's get this puppy put together!" Green Arrow smiled. 

"And then you can all grab a shower." Black Canary said from the computer.

Supergirl laughed.

"Har Har Har!" Green Arrow frowned.

"Wow." Supergirl said, looking at the finished trap.

"You SURE this is going to hold him?" Wonder Woman asked. 

"Yes." Batman said.

"Batman...I'm not sure now." Atom said.

"What do you mean?" Batman asked.

"The glass. We should have used the other glass." Atom said.

Batman glared at him.

"He gets in, the glass goes down, reinforcements are put up, and he's not getting out." Batman said.

He left NO room for arguments. 

"Let's go catch us a Slade!" Green Arrow yelled.

I think you guys and gals get the foreshadowing part. It's just...different from what you think though.
