Why me? WHY ME?

This was the question that had been burnt into Robin's mind for the last few years of his life.

Okay let's be honest here, it was there ever since his parents were murdered.

And it's a perfectly fine question.

Why Robin?

Why did he have to go through all that?

Why did Slade choose him?

Well I just want to clear up a few things.

Slade DIDN'T choose Robin.

He choose ME.

And he choose right.

He choose...

Robin shot up with a gasp.

What was that?

Very fast images flashed before his eyes before they finally stopped.

What did Slade do to me?

Robin didn't know, but he had EVERY intention of finding out.

"We'll help you find Robin, but NOT because we want him locked up. But because he needs help." Aqualad said.

"He's still our teammate. And when you mess with one of us..." Rocket said.

"You mess with ALL of us!" the Team finished together.

Batman nodded, "I wouldn't expect anything less."

"Only question; HOW do we find Robin?" Kid Flash asked.

"I have a tracker on him. Not sure if he has gotten it out yet." Batman said.

"Gotten it out?" Rocket questioned.

"We decided to put a tracker in him while he was unconscious." Flash said.

"WHAT?!" Kid Flash screamed.

"It was a safety precaution! One that was obviously needed." Batman growled.

"So we track him, find him, then what? How will we get him back here?" Aqualad asked.

"We'll tranquilize him. No harm will be done." Martian ManHunter said.

"What if he runs again?" Red Arrow asked.

"We'll all have a tranquilizer dart. He'll get hit by whomever." Batman said.

"And what if he dodges and runs?" Red Arrow asked.

"Then we'll have to put out a search for him. We'll say he's missing and that anyone who sees him needs to call authorities." Wonder Woman said. 

"What if he's not Robin? What if he's his secret I.D?" Aqualad asked.

The original six looked at Batman. (I said six 'cause Batman isn't looking at himself!)

"I will take care of that." Batman said.

"Got a location!" Question said and brought it up on the largest screen.

"He's in Gotham." Red Arrow said.

"The nastiest part!" Artemis realized.

Batman growled.

"How long will it take to break his encryption?" Batman asked.

"I'm not sure." Huntress said tapping away at a keyboard.

Batman growled and brought up a keyboard and Robin's encryption.

"Fine! Do it for me, oh great Batman!" Huntress huffed.

"Batman we want to find him as much as you do. Let us help." Stargirl said.

"Later. I taught Robin how to hack. And Deathstroke probably did too. I'm much faster than Huntress." Batman said.

Zeta Beams now Online

Batman just gave Huntress a look.

"Don't stand there looking at me! Let's go find Robin." Huntress growled.
