Reviewer's Remarks: The diary of violet is the foremost segment of the five book series. It's a story tagged as Mystery/Thriller with a hint of romance - what's not to like? The Diary of Violet discusses dark themes and doesn't shy away from intense topics.
The main character, Violet - I adored her. At times she is kind of agitating - but isn't that how real people are supposed to be. Also, she's the first fairly intelligent character I have come across during my time on wattpad.
I was concerned at how fast the story was going - it didn't allow me to get used to the characters and familiarize with the story. For a while I was like 'what the hell is happening', *spoiler alert* 'who faked her death?', 'why did Ryder OD on xanax?' and so on. So, it may take a while to adjust to the story's swift pace.
I would recommend this to an audience that enjoys fast paced thrillers which flirt with the dark side.

A note to the author: My concern was how promptly the story was moving - within the first chapter so much had happened that I couldn't quite keep up with the actual story. There are a handful of errors which you can eradicate with minor editing - no biggie. Basically, I loved your story and the whole idea of it - but it was a little flabbergasting how so many things were thrown at me all at once.
