Summary: The world is dead. Gone. Peeled away, like dead skin. Underneath, lies the nothing: a void between worlds, the sole occupants of which are malevolent shadow beings called glowdarks.

Only a select number of individuals possess the ability to peel their way into new worlds; they are the rippers. Em is one of them. He can sense the "rips" scattered throughout each dimension and use them to peel through to the next world. As Em and his group of survivors peel through world after world, battling glowdarks, zombies, and even gods, they discover that their world is not the only one that has ended. Everywhere they go, worlds are dying off, one by one. It's up to them to find out why.

Reviewer's Remarks: Epilogue is a work of fantasy in which 'the world has come to an end'. The introduction sparked an interest in me and enabled me to further look into the story. I was curious to note how the author had featured the aspect of the end of the world.

The author's take on this particular detail was in fact very interesting. In this story the world does not terminate succeeding a dramatic incident - the inhabitants who have survived simply experience nothing. My reference sounds vague but the author has mentioned in the prologue that the world simply 'stopped', that there was no explosion or a prodigious incident - as was expected by the people.

Also, 'battling glowdarks, zombies and even gods,' - count me in! I was eager to see how the author would proceed and then conclude their story - so obviously I read through the whole thing (up till the last published chapter). I also adore the author's style of writing which is expressive and pictorial yet still simple enough to comprehend.

I could tell that the author was confident as to how they wanted to advance by chapters and how to pursue such advancements. Confidence is key. I appreciated the author's selected title too - 'epilogue' - which sounds fitting, considering the plot regards the end of the world. I really adored this work.

Rating (out of five): 4

A note to the author: This was a satisfying read and offered everything you had mentioned in the introduction. The book is well composed and I have no complaints regarding your writing.
