So I've noticed something. Everyone is obsessed with shipping. We have had ship based scenarios, like The Shipping Games and Weddings, we're writing fanfiction, and having mini RP's on each other's books.

But guys, it's been taken a little too far. Shipping games in almost every scenario? Weddings pretty much every month? Lemons? Romance, everywhere.

I'm honestly sick and tired of it. I had planned for this RP group to be fun and creative, which is why we make state OC's. But now it seems like the only point is to ship everyone with someone else.

The ship games were fun for the first two or three times we RP'd them, but now they're just old and not fun anymore. I actually feel annoyed when I see them being suggested, if we're being honest.

Like, I haven't been wanting to participate in the past few scenarios because I just knew that ships would be involved.

Not to mention everyone seems to freak out over the smallest things. Screeching and typing in caps lock to show you're overly excited about the ship? Okay... Just calm down...

Honestly, I don't even ship half the ships we've created in this RP group. I don't hate them, but I just don't love them, either.

Weddings were cute at first, but now they feel old and overused. Even if we only have done 4 of them. I think we should cut down on proposals, and if not, maybe write a one shot for the wedding instead, because whenever we have wedding scenarios, we always do the same things. Have everyone be nervous, then have everyone cry out of feels, and lastly, everyone gets drunk and plays ship games. That's not fun anymore.

Also, it doesn't seem very fair for the new RPr's to just be thrown into a ship scenario as their first one. They're probably confused and know none of the ships we have.

I actually at one point considered lying and saying I had to do something so that I didn't have to RP. Now that parade I went to earlier? That was real.

Shipping is fun, don't get me wrong, but when you treat it like oxygen, and say you can't live without it, it loses it's enjoyable atmosphere.

And another thing; I enjoy occasional fluffy moments in the RP, like quick kisses and hugs, and if it's a feel jerking scenario, long, passionate kisses are also cool. But when we have specific games or topics for that stuff... It's not entertaining or exciting to RP anymore.

This is also why I haven't been putting out a bunch of one shots. Because I feel like whoever "owns" the ship I wrote about is gonna flip out in the comments. I don't want or like that.

It's come to the point where you guys are shipping children! 8-10 year old children that aren't even canon to the RP's! I guess it's a little better that you guys made an AU where they're teens, but they were introduced as children, not teens. But lemons for those ships? That's crossing the line in my book.

I genuinely miss the old scenarios, that were actual scenarios, and not ships. It's 50States, not 50Ships, guys. We seem to have forgotten that.

And if we are gonna play ship games, actually pick two random people, instead of the same ships over and over. That adds some spice and entertainment. Also, for weddings, if it's another country that's being wed, do some research and see what weddings are like in that country. Make it different!

In actual weddings, people don't shove each other into closets and make them eat each other's faces for 7 minutes.

Remember those plans I said I had? They were originally going to be an announcement for pregnancy; Alfsey. But now I don't want to do that, and I don't think I will, because everyone's gonna want to make their ship have a kid, too and freak out about it in the comments. It's not fun or enjoyable if everybody does the same thing.

To sum it up, we always seem to be repetitive in what we do in the RP's, and it's getting annoying, unenjoyable and not entertaining at all. We're shipping almost every character and having too much fun doing so, by writing fanfics, one shots and lemons. Everyone gets way too excited and overreacts when someone posts something ship related, and that is also annoying, but it also concerns me.

Basically, there's too much romance, and not enough fun. It's okay to ship things, we wouldn't be fangirls and fanboys if we didn't ship things, but we have to draw the line somewhere, right?

We have literally made our own mini fandom because of these ships and the RP account. We all need to calm down, and take a break from the ship games and scenarios.

This has been weighing me down to talk about for some time now, but I haven't found the words to do so correctly. But now, I have.

I hope you understand what I mean, and will consider my thoughts, and take a break from the shippy scenarios and ideas, and actually have regular ones.
