You stare at Papyrus, still processing in your head what had just happened.

"Do it again! I want to record it!" Papyrus yells.

You look at Sans, him looking at you, with surprised faces.

 "I-I.." You stammer. 

 "YOU GUYS ARE FRIGGIN CUTE!!!" You hear someone scream. 

You turn, and see Mettaton practically drooling and squealing. You smile and wave, Sans chuckling. 

 "Are you two together?" Undyne asks, walking in. 

 "I-"

Undyne looks at Papyrus's phone and smirks.

 "Cute." 

You walk over to Papyrus and glance at his phone. 

 "Papy, did you seriously just post that?" You gasp, seeing a pic of you and Sans kissing. 

 "Post whaaaaaat?" He says, walking away slowly. 

You shake you head and sigh, glancing at Sans. He was staring at his hands, and then he clenched his "heart". 

 "Dammit..." He mumbles. 

You walk over to him and poke him, him looking at you with a flustered face. 

 "Y-yes?" He asks. 

You smile softly and his eyes widen, him looking away.

 "Damn, sorry. Is there s-somthing you need, y-y/n?" He stammers.

 "Come on." You sigh, grabbing his hand and dragging him upstairs to his room. 

You close the door behind you and lock it, Sans sitting on his bed. 

 "So." You say, looking down at the floor. 

You and Sans stare at the floor, refusing to make eye-contact, nobody speaking. 

 "Oh god, y/n. I'm so sorry, i didn't mean to- i didn't want to- i-" 

You sigh and slide down his door, sitting on the floor, hiding your face in your knees. 

 "If you didn't want to kiss me why did you?" You ask in a soft, hurt voice. 

Sans looks at you with wide eyes. 

 "N-No, that's not what i meant-" 

You giggle softly, tears sliding down your cheeks, your face still hidden. 

 "It's okay Sans. I wouldn't want to kiss me either, i get it." You say standing up. 

Sans watches you with wide eyes. You smile and look up. 

 "I should be getting home. See you tomorrow, or something." You say, mustering your best smile. 

Sans watches you leave, with big sad eyes, speechless. 

You close his door and run down the stairs. 

 "Y/N-" You hear Papyrus call. 

You open the front door and slam it shut, running away from the house. 

You didn't know what came over you, but when Sans said he 'didn't mean and didn't want to kiss you', it just shattered your heart. 

You don't even know if you had feeling for the skeleton

Not to mention, he was a skeleton

But somehow that never really bothered you

You loved him for who he was
