I haven't been in the fandom for very long to be honest. Every other fan I know is like "Oh I grew up on them I love them" and I haven't even been in the fandom for a whole year yet. The sad thing is I think I have awkward timing. The first time I ever saw/heard of Gorillaz I wasn't in the fandom and barely knew what it was, but it seemed to be pretty popular. Now that I'm in the fandom and happy with it, the fandom itself seems so dead. The fans I find on the internet either barely do anything gorillaz related or their accounts aren't active. It makes me pretty sad.
