Chapter 19

            Barry's levels of apitoxin had gotten down to normal, so he sighed, "Terrific." Then he zoomed away, and not even a second later I was in my blue, deep plunge, dress, heels, and had a bunch of accessories on.

"Ugh," I stated grossed out, "I was naked in front of you people."

"Ray, Felicity," Barry said from the back of the room, "We're going to be late for dinner." He was wearing his grey suit that I hated, and in his arms were our coats.

Wells asked with a raised eyebrow, "Are you sure that's wise, Barry?"

Caitlin stated, "You just died."

Cisco suggested, "Maybe you should just order in tonight."

"Yeah," Ray insisted, "We could totally cancel."

Barry pleaded, "I'm fine. Alive. Hungry. Alright? Let's go." Then, he turned around and walked out of the Cortex without even giving me my coat.

"That was weird," I stated, and chased after Barry.

We walked into the restaurant, and both Barry and Ray opened the doors for Felicity and I. "Thanks," I smiled to both of them.

Iris and Eddie were sitting at the bar, so Felicity greeted, "Hey guys! Wow Iris, check you out." They hugged, and I stood still awkwardly. She introduced Ray, "Hey guys, this is Ray Palmer."

"Hi," Ray smiled and shook their hands, "Nice to meet you."

I whispered to Barry, "I feel like I should have bedazzled my cannula for this." Then, our group started walking to our table.

Barry took ahold of my tank while I took off my coat, and Iris whispered to us, "Hey, how did he get a reservation here? We've been trying for months."

He shrugged, "I don't know."

"Here's your table, sir," The French host presented, and all of us were shocked to see that the entire restaurant was empty.

Ray chuckled, "I thought it would be nice if it was quiet, so I bought out the entire restaurant. Too much?"

"Just a tad, sweetie," Felicity smiled.

"So how did you meet?" Eddie asked Ray and Felicity.

"Work," She replied chipper.

Ray further explained, "Well, I actually bought the company where Felicity was employed at, and so she was forced to join me at Palmer Tech."

Felicity laughed, "It's not as creepy as it sounds."

Barry leaned over to me and whispered, "I hope they don't ask us how we met, because I'm not ready to have the sex conversation again."

"Don't worry," I laughed, "I'll save you."

Iris inquired, "So you two work closely together?" She nodded, "Interesting," Iris looked at Eddie, "I guess you guys share all of your thoughts and feelings..."

"Yeah," Ray explained, "I share everything with Felicity."

I grabbed Barry's hand under the table, and I let him know I was afraid of where this was going.

Iris insinuation to her relationship with Eddie, "It's nice that you guys have that level of communication."

Felicity furrowed her brow, and tried to save everybody, "Oh no, not every-everything. I mean, I mean sometimes it's good to shut up."
