Burning Desire

A/N: I blame Lana Del Rey for this one. I was listening to her song "Burning Desire" and I just had to write this poem. I find it kind of sexy...so here it is.

Melting in your arms,

I slip through your fingers,

Your touch burns me,

You're too hot,

I have a burning desire,

For you,

I could die for you,

To live again,

Your name stays on my lips,

But your touch fades too soon,

Time after time,

Sometimes I have to pretend,

That you're there,

Scorching me,

The fire engulfs me,

Burns me alive,

But it feels so good,

Against my skin,

I have a desire for love,

A desire for need,

The flame swallows the desire,

With pain screams dreams,

Screams the burning desire,

I have for you.
