Need To Get Away From You

A/N: I was listening to "What Do You Want From Me" by Adam Lambert and it got me thinking a bit about stuff and this poem started to build itself in my head! Hope you guys like it! :)

I'm sitting here,

I'm alone, 

I need to be on my own,

What do you want from me?, 

I thought you loved me, 

As I loved you perfectly, 

I thought I could breathe freely, 

When I'm with you, 

But I feel like I'm suffocating, 

My lungs collapsing, 

Because you take my breathe away,

What do you want from me?, 

I need to think, 

I need to think straight, 

Without you breathing down my neck,

I'm working it out, 

Please don't give up, 

Keep coming around, 

Don't give in, 

I'll come back,

 So what do you want from me?, 

I thought you understood, 

I'm afraid,

I'm a freak, 

Did you know, 

Once there was a time, 

When I didn't give a damn?,

We can work this out, 

But I need my lungs to breathe, 

I need to break free, 

I need to escape from the cage, 

Once I used to call "True Love"
