Insecurities

Hey Guys,

This is a new poem and I've had it on my mind the whole day and I just needed it to get out—-I've been thinking a lot...basically there are things I would change about myself and sometimes being so insecure isn't very healthy—especially being envious of people who are very thin, tall and pretty.

Don't let it get you down, you're beautiful just the way YOU ARE!!

@Dark_Mistress_Damned

P.S: If you're going through stuff like this—all the insecurities—don't EVER try to starve yourself. And STAY STRONG!!

I hate the way I look,

Fat thighs,

My small eyes,

The big hands,

I want to change it all,

Why can't my stomach be thin,

Why can't I tan my skin?,

I want to be,

Like those girls in those marvelous frames,

On the photo,

Looking like a billion bucks,

I wish I was a masterpiece,

If you change one thing what would it be?,

Would you change your hair?,

I want it longer,

Would you change your nose,

I would want it thinner,

Perhaps a little bigger,

I always dream,

Of having a perfect figure,

Taller, thinner, smarter, blonder,

But we can't all,

Be like those fake dolls,

Those bodies,

In the magazines,

Do you think they're real?,

Don't you know?,

What is photoshop,

A little edit,

A little change,

Don't they all seem evil?,

They think their job is no big deal,

Those people you call media,

They are nothing,

But devil within,

So don't try to fight,

You'll only let them win,

At the end of the day,

I'm just myself,

I'm happy the way I'am,

I don't need no special diet,

I don't need to lose most of my weight,

I don't need to be afraid,

When they ask me,

What I ate,

They need to look,

At their own plate,

Because I always feel great,

If they intrude into my own business,

They will have my army to witness,

I'm grateful,

For the body I was given
