Yusei Fudo x Reader

Chapter 7

You were grabbing your things since you were planning on leaving the warehouse to go back to your own home. Leo whined, "Y/N! Do you have to go back?" You awed, "Don't worry, Leo! I'll come back. How about we duel the next time I come to visit?" He suddenly tackled you and said, "Really? Ok!" You laughed at his excitement. Luna said, "Leo!" Leo waved his sister off, making you laugh once more. Yusei said, "Come on guys. She's not leaving forever." Leo was attached to you, not wanting to let go. You giggled at his childish antics. Luna dragged her brother off of you and mumbled an apology. You saw Akiza's hand in front of you and she helped you up. Akiza said, "Leo must like you a lot if he doesn't want you to leave." You answered, "I don't mind. I wish I had a brother and sister. Leo and Luna are lucky that they have each other." Yusei then said, "I'm thinking of going with her." Everybody exclaimed, "WHAT?!?" You then added to what he said, "He meant that since its really dangerous to be alone right now, he wants to come with me so I don't get hurt or something." You decided to tell the others what you told Yusei. 'I might as well', you thought. You said, "Guys, I need to tell you something." You told them about the nightmare you had last night and about them becoming soldiers to the darkness. You had intentionally left out the parts where Yusei had embraced you, caressed your cheek and kissed it. If you told them about that, they would tease you like no tomorrow. Jack looked at you and asked, "What happened after that?" You responded, "I didn't want to wake up anyone else but I needed to tell someone. I decided to wake Yusei and tell him." Yusei then added, "Apparently from what Y/N told me, the light can possess someone's mind and this talisman she gave me can protect me from becoming possessed by them." You nodded, "The problem with that light is not just that, once you become absorbed, you've become dinner for that spirit eating creep." Akiza said, "We can talk about this later, Y/N. You should be heading back home." You went to your duel runner, with Yusei following behind you. You waved and heard Leo say, "Come back soon! I can't wait until we duel!" You chuckled and yelled back, "I'll be waiting!" You drove quickly with Yusei's runner following behind you.

You arrived at your destination about thirty minutes later. You guided Yusei up the stairs and he looked like he remembered something. You asked, "Do you remember how we first met?" Yusei answered, "Yeah I do."

Flashback

You suddenly smelled smoke from somewhere and went to investigate. You were shocked to find two guys in front of a duel runner that was almost unrecognizable and its owner, unconscious. Upon closer inspection, the first guy was blond with a blue dueling suit, the other with orange hair and multiple yellow marks on his face. You came up, startling them both. You asked worriedly, "What happened?" The blond one spoke first, "We were driving our runners when there was some kind of explosion. It caused Yusei to be knocked out cold." Yusei? The orange one added, "Right. You don't know who we are. The name's Crow and this is Jack. Yusei is the one that's knocked out cold. Who are you?" You answered, "I'm Y/N. My aunt and uncle own a bakery nearby." You added, "Here let me help you." Jack said with annoyance, "Just go back to your bakery." You answered with equal annoyance, "I would never leave a fellow duelist when they're hurt or injured or even unconscious for that matter. Just let me help, we can't go anywhere else. It's too late at night to do so." Crow butted in, "Come on Jack. She's trying to help us. We should accept it." Jack sighed, "Fine but if Yusei gets hurt-" You cut him off with a glare, "He won't. He'll be fine." You went towards your runner and heard Crow say, "Sweet runner!" You answered, "Let's go! We need to get there before your friend's condition gets worse." They both nodded in agreement. You drove as fast as you could with the unconscious guy behind you, his damaged runner attached to the back of yours.

When you got back to the bakery, (Y/AN) exclaimed, "What happened, dear?!?" You answered, "These guys were driving and there was a random explosion. Their friend was knocked unconscious. Is it alright if they stay here?" She saw them and Crow said, "I'm sorry about this." (Y/AN) answered, "It's no trouble. You'll be in good hands. Honey, lead them upstairs." You nodded and showed them the way up.
