I quickly excused myself as I felt my breath escape me. Why do I never think straight in front of him! 'I'm a lampost! Lick me!' I cannot believe I just said that. I quickly grabbed my pack and put it on as I walked towards the border of camp. I took in the surroundings so I would remember the way back.

The grass was green, but I could tell that the land was weakening from the Blight around us. The path to town was short and soon I could hear coughs and see the pain stricken faces. The town folks homes were run-down and many people had boarded their windows. Children were running around, either from fright or play it was hard to tell from their emotionless faces. I watched my surroundings and pulled out my leather duster and quickly put it on and I pulled the hood up to cover my face as I walked past guardsmen who were dressed in Loghain's crest.

"What are you doing here, especially sneaking around like the warriors wouldn't notice you?" I slowly turned to see a man holding onto my shoulder. His eyes were different colors, his right eye was a light blue, which compared to his tan skin was brightened. His left eye was a deep deep brown, full of mystery and his hair was a deep deep raven black as my own is. His face, sculpted by angels much like Alistair's. He didn't have a beard, and he wasn't freshly shaved either. He had somewhat of a scuff that looked like a shadow.

His clothing was of a noble's family, a deep black leather covered him, his gauntlets, greaves and even his hood was the deepest of black meant to match the shadows were all rogues live, and his sheathed blades were incrested with embroidery.

"An assassin, wonderful. To what do I owe the pleasure?" I asked sarcastically.

"What are you doing here?" He repeated in a accented voice.

"I'm here for trade, do you always answer questions with questions?" I asked with a smirk.

"Do you always act like this noble? Are you having a bad day?" He asked in low tone, his eyes leveling with mine. Never leaving them.

"Well you know, I came into the throne room with whiskey on my breath. My father wasn't pleased." I said sarcastically, my hands slowly crept towards my sheaths.

"You're not a regular noble, are you? Follow me." He said lowly, grabbing hold of my hand as he pulled me though the seas of poverty stricken families, all suffering from losses. Either from attacks, bandits, or even Ostagar you could tell. He pulled me into an alleyway and pressed me against the wall, his left hand pinning me as he took off my pack and unsheathed by daggers, throwing them onto the ground.

"Who are you?" I asked, struggling to loosen his grip.

"I am Adrian, from Antiva. A pleasure, who might you be?" He asked with a grin.

"I'm Evelyn." I said lowly.

"Evelyn the noble, why might you be here?" He asked lowly, his different colored eyes studied me closely, as if he were studying my soul.

"That...is none of your concern, and I suggest you let go of her before I have to kill you for harming, my lady." A deep familiar voice spoke up, his strong figure was holding a sword to Adrian's throat.

"Is this your guardsman?" Adrian asked with a laugh, looking to me.

"Not anymore it seems, I am a guardsman of King Cailan of Fereldan, and I suggest you let go of her lady Evelyn of house Cousland before you get charged of attempted murder of a noble house." Darrien spoke, his voice deep and his blue eyes were focused on Adrian.

"The King is dead, Loghain said so himself. Invoke a false authority if you must but this lady here, from her description is a Grey Warden. The Wardens killed the King." Adrian spoke lowly.
