"Ow! What the hell?" Darrien groaned as he rose from my bedroll.
"Hello sleepy head." I grinned as Darrien's eyes widened.
"Am I, in your tent? In your bedroll? My lady, why am I here?" Darrien said in a panicked tone.
"Yes; you are." I said conforming the obvious, while trying to hold back a massive grin. There's no issue, teasing him for a moment, right?
"Did we?" His voice trailed off as his eyes widened, he looked confused for a moment as he looked up at me.
"We did, now get up. We have duties to attend to." I said tapping his head with his sheathed sword.
"Ouch! We; slept together...I would've remembered that." He said in a sad tone. I chuckled.
"If it helps you and I were both drunk so it's not entirely unexpected that you don't remember. Anyways, we have a battle in less than an hour so get off your ass so I can pack up." I said lowly, in a teasing tone as I exited the tent.
"Hey! Wait a moment! I'm wearing clothes!" He called out as I exited the tent, looking around outside. The sky was a dark, dark tone and the storm was right above us. I sighed and inhaled the freshly raining air.
"We didn't sleep together Darrien." I said laughing as he exited my tent. My eyes widened as Alistair walked towards us, with a furious look upon his face. Darrien waved politely to Alistair and he scowled.
"You punched me for kissing Evelyn yet you spend the night in her tent?" He said crossing his arms, with a hint of jealousy in his expression. His brown eyes were so dark you couldn't tell that usually they are a golden brown. His hair was messy in his usual style, the brown looking uneven compared to his blonde.
"Alistair, I didn't sleep with her, why are you behaving like this? She is a fellow Grey Warden and a friend of mine, treat her with respect." Darrien said in a low tone, his eyes narrowing as he looked at Alistair.
"She's more than a fellow Grey Warden to me! I mean..." Alistair took a deep breath and looked to me and Darrien.
"I apologize, I haven't been thinking well lately. Forgive me." He said walking away quickly. My eyes widen as Darrien scoffed.
"Just because I hit him doesn't mean he should behave as such. He used to be a Templar for Maker's sake. He's usually mellow!" I glared at Darrien and he shrugged.
"I apologize, but cannot blame me, he's behaving unlike his usual self." He said lowly, as he grabbed his pack and waved to me before he too left. I sighed as I packed my belongings and slowly took down my tent, careful not to rip the material as I folded it. I slowly followed the path back to the main camp and my curiosity spiked when I saw the Merchant and his wares.
"How may I help you?" He asked, his voice gruff as he looked at me. His eyes a dark brown and his hair and gruff beard matched.
"I'm hoping you have health poultices, Mabari food, empty flasks and a bow? Mine was lost when I went into the Wilds'." I said with a smile. He grinned and shook his head.
"You look a little young to be going into the Wilds' these days, but your free to browse my wares if you must." He said lowly.
"I'm a Grey Warden. It is my duty to do as I must." I said proudly as I collected three empty flasks, health poultices, Mabari crunch for Finnick and a bow made of birch wood which is good for expert striking.
"I am a Grey Warden as well, but I do not venture into the Wilds' willing during a Blight." He said shaking his head with a chuckle.
"A Grey Warden? My name is Evelyn Cousland, a pleasure to meet you." I said with a smile.
