Kaneki x Touka [Touken] One Shots

Fake Lovers

This story is an AU. No ghouls involved.

Touka was over at Yoriko's house and crying into a pillow.

"Why did he do this to me? I loved him!" She wailed.

"Don't cry Touka-chan! You know what they say, there are plenty other men out there! There's ought to be who will properly love you! Who knows, they may be closer to you than you thought. So just forget about that bullshit guy!"

"Mm okay... I'll try."

Next day at Anteiku, Touka was fluttering everywhere. Broken dishes, wrong orders and tripping over stuff. Yoshimura told Touka to take the day off which she did. Kaneki got worried and went up to her room to check on her.

He entered her room with her permission and closed the door behind him. He walked towards the girl wrapped up in her blanket and lying on the bed. "What's wrong, Touka-chan?"

Silence.

"I haven't seen you with your boyfriend lately, had an argument with him?"

"Don't talk about him! I hate him!" She pulled the blanket over her head.

"Touka-chan, I heard the story from Yoriko, just forget about him."

No response.

He pulled the blanket off her and pinned her down. "Touka-chan, do I stand a chance? I'll make sure you forget about him. Just give me a chance. Try dating me for a while."

Touka looked at him. At this point, she was willing to accept anyone who will make her forget about him, even someone she didn't have feelings for. "Okay."

Kaneki smiled warmly. "Thank you. I'll tell manager that we'll take the day off tomorrow. We're going on a date." He got off her and left.

"A date..."

Next day.

Touka took forever to decide what to wear but in the end settled for a white shirt with blue jacket and black shorts.

She went out and met with Kaneki outside a train station.

"Touka-chan you look better today." He touched her cheek. "Shall we go?"

Touka blushed. "Mm."

They went to watch a horror movie of Touka's choice which scared the shit out of Kaneki, went to an amusement park then to eat. Kaneki then sent her back to Anteiku. "I hope you liked today's date. Don't worry, Touka-chan. It takes time to forget. See you at work tomorrow."

"Thank you."

Subsequently, they went on many other dates. The beach, ice skating rink, picnic at a park. Then there's this one time, Kaneki attempted to kiss Touka but got turned away.

Each time they went on a date, Touka admits that she feels happier than the last one and she smiles more often but she thinks she's not ready for kisses and stuff like that. She has feelings for Kaneki now, but she still can't forget her ex.

"You can't keep on doing this to Kaneki-kun you know. He's a really nice guy and to wait for a month before he makes a move on you shows it but I don't think his patience will last forever. You should just move on and fall properly in love with him." Yoriko advised.

"I know Yoriko... I'm trying... Should I let him kiss me next time? That time when I avoided him, he looked really disappointed..."

"Yeah try it Touka-chan." Yoriko agreed.

Seems like Kaneki had the same idea.

The two were in charge of closing up Anteiku today. They finished and Kaneki walked towards Touka. He pulled her towards him and wrapped his arm around her waist, caressing her cheek. "Touka-chan."

"W-What is it?" She looked at him. Being so close to him, she felt a little shy.

He stared at her. "Can I kiss you?" After a few seconds, she nodded.

Kaneki smiled then leaned in to kiss her. She returned the kiss and rested her hands on his chest. They often separated for air as the kiss got more passionate by the minute. He could also feel her hands turn into small fists on his chest.

Touka kept moving back until her back hit the counter. He released his arms from her waist and placed them flat on the counter. She moved her hands from his chest slowly up his neck, to his cheeks then ran her fingers through his hair.

Kaneki released for air and went to her left ear, blowing hot air at it. He nibbled at her earlobe and licked behind it. He did the same to the other ear. This caused Touka to moan softly.

"Touka-chan, where did he touch you?" He asked, referring to her ex.

"W-We never did anything like this. We never kissed. We only held hands and went on dates."

"I see... So your first kiss was with me?"

"Mm." Touka blushed.

"So does that mean I can take your virginity?" Kaneki licked his lips.

"Wha-what are you saying?!" She hit his chest.

Kaneki picked Touka up. "I'm serious Touka-chan." He walked into the back of the shop and into her room. He placed her down gently onto her bed and got on his fours.

Touka blushed furiously. "I-I don't think I'm ready for it yet..."

"Mm okay. I'll wait." Kaneki got off her and sat on the bed. "Meanwhile I can work on making you forget."

"Mm thank you." Touka smiled.

The next week, when they were on a date, Touka saw her ex walking on the streets. Kaneki lets her go and talk to him. The ex explained to Touka, saying it was a bet from his friends to cheat a girl and make her fall in love with him. But he felt bad so he's now apologizing to her. She accepted the apology then went back to Kaneki.

"What did he say?"

"He explained to me every thing. I forgave him."

"That's good. So you're now able to move on?"

"Yeah. Finally. Thank you for waiting this long, Ken." Touka blushed as she said his first name.

"Mm anything for the person I love, Touka."

It took a total of 2 months and a half to make Touka forget about her ex and move on to Kaneki. And they finally became real lovers instead of fake lovers and lived happily ever after. :D

Hope you guys enjoyed!~ Got a dream of Kaneki kissing Touka, asking her "can't it be me?" That gave me the inspiration to write this story. :3
