The Static Speaks My Name is a game with a strong meaning. But this meaning is hidden. You need to observe everything in the house of the game to find it.

Let's start out with the first thing, the poster on the ceiling.

The poster says "today will be a better day". The person who you play as put that up there because he needs a reminder. The person needs something to tell him that there's still hope. And he put it on the ceiling so he could have a boost of confidence every time they woke up.

Second, the painting of two palm trees

The person seems obsessed with this painting. It's an island with two Palm trees. But if you take a closer look at each painting, they have some meaning which the person wrote down. Like when they observed that one of the trees had a wilted leaf which meant everything lovely comes to an end.

And lastly, the man in the cage

If you were to go into the kitchen and look on the fridge, there's an article about a famous artist being kidnapped. And when you find a secret vault, that artist in a cage in a small room with an unfinished Palm tree painting. The person kidnapped the artist so he could create more paintings for him to look at. The person thought that each painting resembled death and life, something he needed to know before committing suicide.

The point of this game

Now I know what you're think.
"This game is messed up"
And yes, it is, but not because he kidnapped someone, because he feels unwanted in the world.

You are never alone. You have peers that care for you everyday but you're so blinded by darkness and fear that you can't see the good in things.

You think that it's the only way out. But it's actually the only way to let other people to chose the wrong path. Think about it, If you committed suicide, that would make your friends and family depressed, making them commit too.

Don't let the static call your name. Go up to it and say "I may not always have good times in my life, but that doesn't mean it should end now. I am strong. I am brave. And I will not commit to you. No matter how many nooses come my way, I'll walk past them."

This is serious. So if you are having these thoughts you need to stop. I know it's hard but trust me, you have others who want to help you. Push away the static that blocks you from them and be happy. You're a good person. Don't be fooled by the static.
