5 Seconds of Summer just got home from Japan and they were all exhausted from the flight. Luke have still been waiting for Lauren's reply because it never came. Lauren, however, didn't respond because she doesn't know what things she wanted to tell him. All of the boys gathered in their living room with Ashton grabbing the remote control from the table and turned the TV on while resting his feet on the table.

"Lauren is the best girl any guy, or even girl, would ever wish for." Zayn answered he unknown question and Luke rolled his eyes while the boys all turned to look athim.

Luke knows Zayn is actually telling the truth. She was like his favorite star, glowing brightly from above yet he always finds it too hard to reach. Luke still felt as though everything they had was a dream. Everything looks like it was just temporary, but it surely felt like forever.

"Luke..." Michael interrupted Luke's train of thoughts receiving a blank stare from the youngest boy, "Aren't you.."

"Michael, don't you think it's time for Luke to finally try to win Lauren again all by himself this time?" Dinah's voice echoed inside Michael's head.

"Aren't I what Michael?" Luke asked looking at Michael.

Michael shook his head, "Nothing.."

"I just need to rest now." Luke stood up rolling his eyes at Zayn who said yet another compliment towards Lauren, "I'm exhausted."

The boys watch Luke drag his feet to his bedroom before looking at each other. Each of them knew Luke doesn't feel tired because of their flight, and they clearly know what made him leave like that.

"What were you supposed to tell him?" Ashton asked as soon as they heard the door close, "Is it to win Lauren back?"

Michael nodded his head, "But Dinah told me it's about time that Luke does things on his own."

"I guess so too." Ashton agreed, "You were always the one doing things for him. Let him think on his own now. He doesn't get to have you there always to save their relationship."

"But I feel like we have to help them both since both their pride are too over the edge." Calum spoke up and shrugged, "I mean, all he does is cry and mumble Lauren's name in his sleep. I don't even know if he even have a plan in mind."

"I guess so." Ashton shrugged looking over to the door and back to his other friends, "We just have to wait when he acts upon it."

Michael shrugged staring at the TV where One Direction are still interviewed, "I just hope it wouldn't be too late. Who knows, Lauren would eventually fall for Zayn."

"I can't imagine how Luke would handle that." Calum shook his head at the drastic picture of his best friend looking too messed up if that time ever comes.

Ashton clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, "I don't even want to think about it."

Luke, on the other hand, paced back and forth at the foot of his bed while biting onto his bottom lip. He couldn't think straight. All he could even figure out is the desperation of his heart to get his girlfriend back. He can't last another day without her, knowing that she may be in love with that man. She might have cheated but somehow, he cheated too. He kissed that girl, it was unintentional but he still kissed her.
