Liam. Of course, I was the only one to see it.

Candi's brow crunched in confusion. "Uh, is everything okay here? I heard a smash?"

Before Liam could go any farther, via spilling all the beans on who we are, I stepped in front of Candi. "Candi let me introduce you. That's Liam." I pointed to the guy whose eyes had yet to leave her. "Liam this my friend Candi, from college. She's normal unlike you freaks, so don't scare her." I said jokingly, but I think he got the underlining in that message.

He quickly composed himself. "Hi," He reached his hand out to her. "I'm Liam, friend of Nicollet's, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." She smiled gently and took his hand.

He shook her hand and didn't let go, just stared into her eyes completely in awe. Her gaze was focused completely on him. So this is how normal mates meet? Interesting. No one else did the run and chase thing. Guess it was just me.

Kane coughed to break their connection. I mentally thanked him. It was kinda creepy to watch.

"Oh. Sorry." Candi pulled her hand away from his. "I just completely staring at you like a freak."

"Don't worry." He laughed. "I did the exact same thing."

She giggled, a faint blush on her cheeks. "So how do you know Nicollet?"

"Well she is the ma- girlfriend to my best friend." Candi's gaze snap to me.

"You have a boyfriend?" She whisper shouted trying to be discreet but it didn't work. Kane came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. It was then she just noticed his presence.

"Yeah." I nodded slowly not getting at what she was hinting at. "Why?"

"Well we could have talked about your love during class when it started turned into a snooze fest." She looked at me expectantly.

"Sorry?" I answered her awkwardly. before I thought of something. I didn't know if she had a boyfriend. "What about yours. Why couldn't we talk about your love life?"

A low growl came from Liam, just like I suspected.

"Ha! Me have a love life, yeah... no. It's none existent." She waved me off. "I'm still looking for the one."

Looks like you just found him. Liam's body relaxed.

"Well anyway. This is Kane. My... boyfriend." I turned to introduce Kane. The word boyfriend sounded weird. I guess because mates where just more official.

I think Kane had the same thought, because I could see his face scrunch at the term, but quickly dismissed it. "Hello." He as well shook her hand.

She looked at me and gave me a thumbs up. "Good job." Me and Kane cracked up at the joke she made, Liam, not so much.

"Well boys, we are on our way up stairs. Kane has the door to my room been fixed yet?" Tugging on Candi's arm I went to pull her up the stairs. Liam wasn't very pleased that I was taking her away from him. Kane wasn't pleased that I mentioned my own room. He wanted me to to permanently stay in his room.
