So what happens when she volunteers for her best friend's little sister for the 74th annual Hunger Games and is sent into the arena with a twelve-year-old boy she had grown to see as a little brother. What if Katniss was the one who was captured by the Capitol at the end of Catching Fire? What if Peeta was the one with the rebels? This fanfiction is in the perspective of Peeta Mellark. I have used some of the same information and dialogue from the books by Suzanne Collins, but as the story goes on it's pretty much my work. :) This story is uncompleted and I've only released the first chapter. Peeta is the new kid, Katniss is the stubborn girl in the school's most popular group (Finnick, Annie, Glimmer, Johanna, Cato, Marvel...) what will happen when their paths meet..? I won't give any spoilers just yet ;) Obviously, I do no own any of the characters. They are all masterpieces of Suzanne Collins.

This is what I think would've happened if Katniss's name had been called at the Reaping instead of Prim's, and Prim had gone into the Games.
