    - a story of love, loss, and learning to thaw - Winter was beginning to soften when Ruby arrived in the North. The duchy had once looked at her like a stranger wrapped in southern silk - too warm, too kind, too out of place. But slowly, the snow began to melt. The maids no longer flinched. The guards nodded. The markets whispered her name with something close to fondness. She told herself that patience would be enough. That one day, the Duke would look at her and see her. That one day, his heart might thaw too. Then the carriage came. And with it - Catherine von Omerta, the Duke's secret daughter. A child who laughs too loud, climbs walls, steals sweets from the kitchen... and carries her mother's fire in her eyes. Elizabeth's fire. The woman Ruby can never replace. Now the house of frost is cracking open - with grief, with memory, with the first signs of spring. This is a story about love after loss, about ghosts that linger in the quiet and the courage it takes to be seen when you were never meant to be.

Kayla 'Kaykay' Mitchell and Kendric 'Kenny' James could not be more different: different ages, different backgrounds, different schools, different parents, different lives. The worst thing about them was what they DID have in common: their adoptive mother. He can't confront it. She can't deny it. He can't stay away. She can't let go. Tensions are high, life is scarier than ever, and the only people they can trust are the people they can't even turn to: each other. Will being more than friends make them less than family? Will they honor their family bond or give in to forbidden attraction? Akio was a man trained to leave. A ronin without a master, he lived by the road, carrying only what he could afford to abandon. Then one village asked him to stay. He trained a woman who refused to be protected, married her in the shadow of an approaching war, and learned what it meant to belong. When the village burned, Akio survived with a single purpose left to him. For three years, he hunted the men responsible. The Open Circle is a quiet, deliberate story about love, violence, and what remains when vengeance is finished. It is not a tale of redemption, nor of glory, but of a man who must learn how to live after the circle refuses to close.

"Put me in there." Howard Stark's head snaps up and he stares at the young girl who stands in his work shop- who somehow got in here without any of his security alarms going off. Maybe they did, and he just didn't notice? He recognizes her... Rita? No, that can't be right. "What?" He asks, dumbfounded. "You heard me, Stark. Put me in that steel tomb thing. Let's see if it works for me." She starts unbuttoning her blouse before Stark can give her a real answer. Howard gapes at her confidence before shaking his head. "No, that nearly killed Rogers." 'Peggy? Was her name Peggy? No, no, he'd have remembered if there was two Peggy's. Oh, and isn't that a horrifying thought.' "Rogers could die from a gentle breeze right now," she shucks her blouse off to the side and then reaches down to take off her heels. "Let me try." "You're Rogers' friend?" Howard asks, because all this attitude would make more sense if that were the case. "I'm James Barnes' sister." Oh. "Brooklyn!" Stark exclaims. "It's Becca, actually." ---- *swearing and some period-typical sexism I do not own any Marvel characters. Original Characters are mine. Inspired by the MCU and Marvel Comics plots. Some heartbreaks don't shatter you, they unravel you thread by thread, until you're forced to rebuild the parts of yourself you once gave away. "The Version of You I Never Met" is a "Tribrid" book, part memoir, part emotional guide, part psychological blueprint for anyone who has loved someone who couldn't love them back the way they deserved. Blending raw storytelling with attachment psychology, this book explores the very anatomy loving an avoidant partner, carrying emotional weight for two, surviving emotional absence and walking away from a bond you wanted to кеер. Through a story blood-stained with devotion, confusion, imbalance, heartbreak and clarity the author dissects the hidden patterns behind avoidance, the cost of loving someone who hasn't healed, and the quiet, almost celestial strength it takes to choose yourself when choosing them costs too much. Its not a story about blame it's a story about limits, healing, and the power of understanding the truth even when it hurts. If you've ever begged for clarity or felt invisible in the arms of someone you loved, this book will feel like finally being seen. If you're learning to trust again, it will remind you that healing is possible, and that some endings are actually beginnings in disguise. For the heartbroken, the healing, the emotionally attuned, and the lovers who have always loved too much. This book is your mirror, your medicine, and your metamorphosis. It will break you, then rebuild you. It will explain him, then return you to yourself. It will hurt - then then it will heal. "He loved you, just not in the way you needed. You loved him, just not in the way he could hold."

grief & other ordinary things is a collection of poems about loss that doesn't arrive loudly. It lives in grocery aisles, unfinished conversations, calendar pages that refuse to turn. These poems are for the moments after-when the world keeps going and you're expected to follow. For love that had to end. For people who didn't stay. For grief, and the ordinary things it learns to sit beside.

⭐ Manu lived his life in the shadow of a tragedy that stole his sight and his heart's greatest melody. Now, he navigates a world of "velvet blackness," finding solace in the white piano left behind by Felix-a ghost he can't stop playing for. When he meets Kris, a street busker with a voice that sounds hauntingly like the one he lost, the silence of Manu's world is shattered. As they begin to breathe new life into unreleased songs, Manu must decide: Is this a second chance at harmony, or a dissonant echo of a past that's better left in the dark?. "Gold is not what survives the fire. Gold is what the fire reveals."
